The procedure is booked for 18 May. I have heard different things relative to limitations, post-op pain, etc.

What have you experienced in the course of your own surgery?

I do not want to be off of my feet for very long at all, but I also do not wish to jeopardize in any way, my 'new body' whilst it is healing.  :o ???

I stopped on the way home for tacos.  I went out the next day to shop for bras.  Yes, I was in pain and I did not even care for I was on cloud nine.

I was in bed most of the time since I had it along with my SRS.  Pesonally I think that the discomfort is minimal.  They place these drains on the side of your breasts to absorb the fluid and blood which is produced during the healing process.  Additionally, you have to massage them constantly to help the implants mold to the pockets.  You may experience some numbness around the areolas for the first few weeks following a BA, but the feeling comes back eventually so do not despair.  What kind of implants are you getting? did your surgeon tell you what kind of incision he is going to make? under the breasts? under the armpits? through the belly button? (I am serious, this is a new technique).  Good luck Rhonda.  :)

Are they back to using silicone again?
I know that the "old" implants were much more lifelike feeling.   ;)
The saline implants just seemed well, hard.   ???

they are not ultra large

i'm with you there. getting a natural look may be as simple a matter of not going overboard on size, but it seems that few can resist that temptation.

Size and profile of the implant.

I just got back from my pre-op consult and I did in fact opt for a medium profile gel implant from a high profile.

I am too old to be using a high profile implant; it did not look right.
