Ho Ho Ho!

OK so I have relatives who live in Africa near the Indian Ocean.

I'm on Facebook and one sends a chat text. 'Hi How's the weather there? Heard you had a cold, hope your're over it now'.

I am so I write back that it's cold, really cold, because it is, and sometimes it rains and is cold, and other times it's just cold, but basically cold.

So, she writes back, 'Sorry to hear that. We are having a terrible time with the weather as well, it's so hot, we have to spend every day on the BEACH!

I mean to say, how sad! It's so hot the grass won't grow! So they go to the beach, play in the water, then later, have long cold drinks to cool down.

To make things worse, they are both retired, on a forces pension.

         

I love these people dearly. All of them. But I didn't really need to know that! (Or perhaps I did!  )
