Well you have a lot on your plate right now, but hang in there honey you will prevail and be able to enjoy yourself once again. The human body has a tremendous capacity to heal and adjust given time and patience along with the right medications. Keep us posted on your progress!

I know this is is an old topic but I encourage the same problems six months post op. My T levels are lower then the lowest CIS female value. I cannot come and although I want to have sex mentally, it's boring down there. My doc prescribed me a T cream and told me to apply it to my belly once a day. The dosage is very low but it disturbs my mood... I hate unbalance my hormone system again...

Last year before SRS I only orgasm as a male two times and it was not easy to do. Two times in a year is too little... I'm afraid that I was wrong that I left my pre op equipment out of the game....I think it plays a role in order to continue to function properly post op....

What do you think? Should I continue T cream, maybe try it at night. But then again, I do not like the idea that I consume more chemicals while being post op....I feel like guinea pig....

Tonia,
Like I have previously stated I had an orchiectomy about ten years ago. My libido flatlined I wasn't interested in sex and was unable to enjoy a climax for several years until I had a long conversation with a pretty little naturopathic doctor who specializes in hormone treatments for aging patients. She told me that postmenopausal women and women who have had a hysterectomy can have their libido back by using a small amount of T cream, she went on to say that the same holds true for a post-op MtF transsexual as well because they share the same situation as any CIS female on HRT. So I took her word for it and started using some bio-identical T cream that she prescribed which comes from a compounding pharmacy and I put a small dollop on my butt's zizwheel following my shower each day, because it's closest to the prostate which corresponds to the cis female's G-spot the real earth shaker involved in a climax. It is absorbed right away and does not interfere with my feminizing regimen in any way and I'm good for the day. So if you have complete SRS or just an orchiectomy you are post-op and technically no longer physically male since the gonads are gone, the only difference is one's clitoris is hidden and the other's is on a pedestal. Llibido in MtF as well as cis women is dependent on a small amount of T in the system to make it happen. Young healthy women do normally have a small amount of T which is produced along with estrogen by their ovaries, without it they would have absolutely no libido and no desire for sex. Anxiety concerning the use of that small amount of testosterone is a mental issue as so many trans women consider it to be the boogyman which is ridiculous given the tiny amount we are talking about.

Thank you for your help, but what is zizwheel? You mean anus or something?

Yes, I didn't want to to say the ring around my ->-bleeped-<-, it just sounds so nasty. Yes that's the place, it's a very short distance from the mostly deflated prostate and is absorbed quickly through that tissue and helps perk up libido rather nicely. One of the extra perks is that you will get erect super sensitive nipples. They show through my bras and tops, but girls do have nipples huh?

Ok thanks for the info, I might give it a try once again...

When you have srs the neo clitoris is much smaller area than the original male glans thus losing a lot of nerve endings. (Dr. McGinn mentioned
this )
Also a genetic woman's clitoris has many more nerve endings than a male glans (head ) So it goes to reason the neo cltoris will have even less nerve endings.   yes srs spares some nerves.
I've seen many posts, all the time from post ops, stating that  they  had orgasms,  some even 3 months after srs. What a bunch of poo.
As many people may know some genetic woman have trouble achiving orgasm
If there is sensativity in the neo clitoris you should be able to orgasm. 10 weeks Be patient. You can  try a small amount of testosterone. (Yes I have said the dirty word testosterone ) They have done this for GW with for low libido and orgasm problems.
my email  is vnappa52@gmail.com   No hate mail please.

Edited for profanity.

Just to update on things from when I initially posted -- a week of T cream and I was good, though I think I just figured out my way more so than the T cream actually being enough in my system to have an effect -- So 10 weeks post Op was how long it took me to have my first.  Though now I just had my 5 month anniversary since my SRS and Ive not had a problem, it just takes getting used to.

Just to let you know some happy news: I had an orgasm ;D
Didn´t get any T cream yet, but I will actually still try it since my sensitivity is not that great. But I still had a really good orgasm!
Such a relief!

I think that the often said one year recovery time to start feeling more normal really is true. As hard as it is to not get worried, patience is what we need to find... At 6 moths I was not even considering trying out my new gear but than again I had extra big complications. Stress and worry is the worst you can do (and the hardest to not have as well, in my experience)
Keep positive Tonia! I was all messed up and it still worked.

Be patient! The time will come. I had a strange thing during my both recoveries (two stage operation) I was very horny in my clitoris like a month after both surgeries. I didn´t do or feel like doing anything about it though but felt that it was very hopeful thing. Than I was disappointed that it was so boring for a long time. And than it started being more comfortable, after a year. But I have heavy scar tissue development so it was alot about that.
You do actually get a "erection" still since it is not possible to take away all erectile tissue. And that´s maybe not good if it´s still healing...

Why should it be bad to feel that you have erection? I really enjoy that I feel my vagina changes when I hear or think horny things. It's not seen by anyone anyway. I'm nine months post op, I can come with masturbation, sometimes within an hour and sometimes less than half an hour. I cannot come with partners yet, I find it way to hard to come. I need to concentrate a lot when I masturbate in order to come.

I meant that the erection is not very good in the very early stages of healing with all those scars everywhere. Even doctors advise against. Now I enjoy the little erection when it stopped being painful.
I have been using a very small amount of T for some weeks now and it really works. My clitoris woke up just before I started T and I was able to get an orgasm without it but I can really feel the difference and I am pretty unsensitive to everything. The whole area is alive in a different way and for me it is very important to have that sensation. Now when it´s stimulated my mind and body is working together, something that I was missing. The amount I use is even smaller than the prescription because I want to be really careful with it.

Just as I had said earlier in this thread. We're not any different than cis women during or following menopause, it gives their libido a boost and therefore it will do the same for us. Kudos, enjoy your love life girlfriend!  :)

It might sound strange but I'm taking a herbal supplement called yohimbe bark which is supposed to help libido by increasing blood flow on genital area. I'm only taking it a week and I can feel more sensate in that area but still can only come alone with masturbation, I cannot come when having sex. I feel like I do not get aroused much enough to come when being with my boyfriend, this must be due to anxiety...still not sure...time will tell.

Tonia,
I'm sure that anxiety can play into this, hopefully you will be able to relax that anxiety enough where you can let it happen. There's nothing strange about that, young cis women often have huge anxiety in the face of their first experience with sexual intercourse, I can't see any difference.

Is testosterone cream something you'd have to use daily or only when you want to get in the mood?

It's just a tiny amount should be used daily otherwise the erectile tissue will atrophy and won't come back up with just one application. It's such a small dose it won't affect your feminizing HRT in the least. This is for those who are post op or post-orchiectomy.

Ah okay thanks. My endo just prescribed me finasteride (I'm 4 months post-op) and he won't prescribe t cream, which makes sense I guess especially if you need to use the cream daily (which I didn't know)

Finasteride and you're post-op? Usually that is used to counter dihydrotestosterone which is a by product of testosterone and it kills your hair follicles on your head and increases MPB. If you're post-op that shouldn't be a problem with the gonads gone. Are you experiencing a lot of hair loss?
