Does a person's personality change for better or worse after transition?

My therapist, Dr. Rita Cotterly explained to me first thing that if you are a butt head before transition, you will be a butt head after transition. You may be a different type of butt head, but a butt head non the less. She is an ex nun no doubt and has helped over 500 TS transition, plus countless others with varying issues to which she has lost count of. I enjoy our conversations, she is 78 years old and has a world of wisdom. After personally helping so many transition I believe her and what she says.
