I've heard of some shedding with hormone therapy but nothing like that. I would suggest making a beeline to a dermatologist.

Coming out in clumps is never good. I agree, check with a doc. This can be signs of other things wrong.

Exactly... mine never shed in clumps. In fact they just came out 1 or 2 at a time and keep growing back finer and finer. Go see a doctor.

Radiation exposure can cause rapid hair loss, or maybe something you washed with , maybe someone put nair in your shampoo>?

I hope everything turns out ok

If someone put nair in her shampoo her scalp would be burning. That stuff has lye in it.

Well, if it's just doing that harmlessly... then you can call me envious.

Do check it out, but let's hope for the best.

After 2 years + on HRT AND SRS five months ago, no clumps of hair come out. That's what the epilator is for. Never heard of anything like this. Get it checked out.

On just a soap bar (wait, you wash by rubbing a soap bar against yourself? Never heard of that), it's a bit weird, but I've had that in a way. The first time I used my new exfoliating glove, some hair on my legs did come out in balls of hair still attached to a few living hairs, that I had to cut.

I don't think it's worrysome. I've never heard of fast body hair loss being a dangerous symptom. Unless you start noticing something else that's really dangerous-looking, I think it's just the anti-androgen working well. It never hurts to get a health check-up, but I wouldn't be in a huge hurry to have one done just because of that. Though maybe it's just thinning the hair and the old large ones are falling off, not supported because the root became smaller (imagine attaching a log on a vine). So this might mean 1. it will come back, but not as bad as before, 2. there's a decent chance of getting ingrowns, so exfoliate well.

Mine just shed in my sleep, I have almost no hair left on my arm.  Once in awhile i'll see a hair that looks dead and squiggleish and i'll gently tug it and it'll come right out of its root  ;D  My upper leg is so spread apart I bet an electrologist could kill them all in an hour.

Exact opposite to top of my head which is thicker (people notice no more bald spot also) and the male receding gene seems to be receding itself.  Growing hair in parts of my head I thought would be lost forever.

Wish I could get rid of my body hair. It's not dark and wiry, but it's dark enough to be visible... and it's everywhere. What a wonderful thing it would be to have the luck to lose it all to hormones alone! My testosterone is very low, but I sometimes wonder if the numbers are lying.
