Hellooooooo peeps!

Today I went for a consultation which offers laser hair removal. Apparently it is more cost effective and will take quicker. She said my dark hair and pale skin are perfect for the treatment. I always had the impression that electrolysis, while being more expensive and time-consuming, would be better since it is permanent. But I was told that laser would be better since it is a lot cheaper and would take as little as nine hours (that's the VERY least) to finish. Electrolysis would take 100s of hours and take years, so I've heard. She also said that the type of treatment she does really is permanent, as it's not IPL and it's done with a "Yag" machine, I dont know if that means anything to anyone. But anyway, this sounds really great, maybe I could have the laser first and then finish off the finer hairs with the electrolysis. Any thoughts?

Laser has been working for me.  Two, about hour sessions now, and in those two months there is noticeable reduction.  My goatee area is stubborn.

I'll probably go another two or three rounds with laser then finish with electrolosis.  Seems to be a good method for a lot of people.

Start with laser, finish off with electrolysis. I got most of mine blasted off with the laser, but white/grey hairs are still intact and the electro gets them. Laser is faster and hurts less.

One other point - just get your face done. For many of us, HRT wipes out most of the body hair so do not waste money on body hair removal.

If you what you read is true some get good results some don't. I did have a reduction with laser but still needed a good amount of electro to finish. I think this is the case for most... I pm'd you  :) Electrolysis is something I do. I understand your in the UK, here's my web site. pulse-electrolysis.co.uk I tried to include loads of information within, probably too much if the truth be known, happy reading.
see you on the beach....

Laser worked great on my back. 95% or more of it is gone in 5 sessions. My face on the other hand isn't going as well. I have a lot of white hair now on my face and understand it does nothing for that. I just want to get rid of the shadow. I would say it removed about 60% of the black hairs but the ones that are left don't seem to want to give it up. Mainly the upper lip area seems to be the most resistant/stubborn. I have 2 more sessions in my "package" but think these last hairs are going to take electrolysis.

That happened to me as well. It is also quite amazing just how many hairs are in the upper lip. My cheeks took two sessions to clear. My upper lip is still going strong after 6 sessions and it will probably take another 6. I hate my upper lip.

Hey yeah sorry for not getting back to you, something went wrong and it didn't send :/ so I thought I'd do it later. Thanks for the offer! Unfortunately, I live in the South West, but I'm thinking of moving to London soon, so I'll keep it in mind, especially since your prices are very competitive!
