So I did my shot last night, and I didn't realize until I had already injected but I think I hit an artery.  When I pulled the needle out there was a little fountain of blood, when usually I just have a little spot.  Am I in trouble?

as you said last night I'm assuming that it was at least a couple of hours ago, in which case I'd assume you'd be okay as long as there's no bruising or anything. I'm not on T or any other injections so I don't know really, but I can't see why it would be a problem if you've had a couple of hours of being okay.

If you pierced your artery, you'd likely be dead by now.
You likely just nicked a vein.

You should be fine. It would take a pretty big needle to cause any serious problems.

You probably lost some T with that blood but besides that it's not a big deal.  I've done that plenty of times and my levels kept on rising.

That is why you aspirate (pull back on the plunger) slightly, to much sure you do not hit a vein.  If you see blood, move to a new spot.  Do not inject.

Aspiration tells you if you are about to inject into a vein, not if you've merely nicked one.

true i aspirated and it was just air but i nicked one and had more blood then normally.

My gf is an EMT and she said you hit a vein. If you had hit an artery it would have been a pulsating fountain of continuous blood (like following your heart pulse).

What happened is you pierced the vein (went completely threw the vein) and when you pulled the needle out the blood just followed the path of the needle.

You'll be fine.

**Also, I just asked my gf in a hypothetical manner. She wasn't giving direct advice and if you think something may be wrong you should seek medical attention.**
