You can always get a bike! Inexpensive to buy, maintain, and power. No fuel, a lot less likely to get ticketed, and you get some good exercise for a nice butt.  :)

I try to live by "why drive what I can walk?" because I don't get out enough AND I hate parking when I go downtown.
Sometimes I blog things

Of course I'm sane.  When trees start talking to me, I don't talk back.

I'm absolutely terrified of driving.

And even if I wasn't, it's not like I could afford a car - over 3k for insurance, a couple of hundred quid for road tax AND fuel costs? I really wouldn't use a car enough to justify those sorts of costs...
My Skype name is twisted_strings.

If you need someone to talk to, and would like to add me as a contact, send me a contact request on Skype, plus a PM on here telling me your Skype name.  :)

With mass transit, one only needs a bike.

I stopped driving for health reasons. Never been happier and the money I've saved. A lot more than giving up smoking, I'll tell you.

In fact, I miss smoking every say. Don't miss driving at all.

While it would be nice to not have to drive, I am the only transport my neighbor has.  And she chips in for gas.
