Great! I will send you a PM!!!

I am an older Vet that lives in Portland and have a gender therapist at the Portland Va. Not sure where I'm heading but at least I have been in therapy for the past six months.

So, did y'all get together last week?  I'm also in Portland.  Unfortunately, I was out of town for a few days during Pride.  I would be curious to know what you all are planning if you intend to get together.

I marched in the parade with a friend and my dog Emnet and carried a banner for Astoria.  It was wonderful!  I was there with my wife, daughter and friends with a huge crowd.  I found the Trans active and NW Gender Alliance booths but did not find or maybe recognize any of our transgender friends from Susan's.  I notice the Rose City T Girls are active and the Portland Q Center seems another great resource. And remember to please "Keep Portland Weird" 8)
Happy to hear about any future get togethers.

I wish I could have went, but without my car (broken) or money, I am pretty much home bound.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

I marched in Pride for the first time this year. Well, technically I danced the entire time. Had a great time, what wonderful energy. It was especially heartwarming when one of the transgender or genderqueer parade goers would recognize that my boyfriend and I are both trans, and their faces would light up in the hugest smiles.

Will be glad to come to any event someone wants to host. Got too much on my plate right now to play hostess, but maybe later in the summer.

HI Oregonians,

The Q Center at 4115 N Mississippi Ave  Portland, OR 97217 (503) 234-7837 features a: MTF Peer Support Weekly Group (7:00pm to 9:00pm) next meeting Friday June 28th.  I am considering coming in from the coast to check it out.  I was at the Q center this week for the first time to check out the Bi/Pansexual discussion group.  The Q center has some great programs and wonderful volunteers.  Hthr seems to know more?  Thanks for marching Maddie, you rock!
