It's been almost a month on HRT implants and progesterone shot... Gosh, time seems to be flying!
So far I have noticed...
• far more connected with emotions, I can nearly make myself cry on demand when thinking about friends or loved ones which brings almost an instant euphoria-like effect (my favorite part so far)
• breast buds, and some small breast growth about 1cm around areola / very noticeable through shirt already
• having to pay attention to how I hug people / nipples very sensitive
• dropped 8lbs... now down to 127lbs at 5'7"... muscles on upper torso are starting to visibly shrink / noticeably less upper body strength
• inner thighs and butt looking a little fuller to me, legs squashing more when I sit
• pores on and around nose + forearms becoming smaller / some disappearing and skin is becoming smoother
• non-head hair is starting to grow slower / my slight thinning of head hair around temples has reversed, there are new hairs sprouting!
• tucking becoming much much easier, not sure if testes are already shrinking some or if it's just my body getting used to it. I wear nothing but tight fitting women's pants so I tuck pretty much every day
• the past week several people have told me I look younger
• face looking slightly different / softer... could just be that "calm", though
Just wanted to report in! Things have been going great for me with HRT and I'm really happy with my decision to finally go through with it. I have continued to eat really well (very low sugar diet, tons of greens, avos, jalapenos, eggs, fish, lots of tea, stevia sweetener etc). I've been really healthy in the midst of many sick roommates. My energy levels have been through the roof. I have noticed some insomnia, but I think it's usually because I get caught up learning, researching, and/or journaling late at night. Also I had my first "excuse me, ma'am" from the side view on the 28th at the airport!! Chills and rush of excitement!! Then a few times again last night at the party. I think my hair has most to do w/ it, though I figured I would mention it because it made me really happy.
I've got an appt with my therapist tomorrow and second laser session is on Thursday! Wooop!!
