How did you sell 1/2 a car?

I am glad full time is working out for you.

Half a car is I do one half of the work and another salesperson finishes it.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT!!

Couldn't of made it here without this site, great friends, family, and a awesome place of employment.

When you know where your going their isn't a point in taking it slow. I waited a lifetime for the opportunity had to jump in and take the risk. Ready to live. :)

Serena, I couldn't have put it better. Full time rocks! Congrats on full time, though I know you've been there for awhile. You're very pretty, all the girls are here. I passed sixteen months on January eighth, and since the day I went full time I've wondered why I didn't go full time thirty-five years ago, the first time I started and quit. I never went full time then, stopping short, and wasted thirty-three of those years because I didn't. Paige, it may not be easy at first, not that you'll be clocked, (you won't!) but the first time I was full time and went to the ladies room, I thought to myself, "Everybody knows and I'm going to jail for being in the women's bathroom. I'd been in them when I used to go out dressed, scared to death, but being full time was a little different for me because it was now real life, I made a commitment to myself and my family I'll never go back and I never will. I wouldn't recognize the old me and my friends wouldn't either. I've lost 63 lbs. since I first began hormones, and went full time five weeks after I began them when the opportunity presented itself. I only lost the weight because I'm happy and have 18 months clean and sober. But I don't care how well anyone passes, it's a new and different life. Anyway, good luck and God bless you all. Full time rocks!!!
These three years have been the best of my entire life
ones I've been able to live without lying
and the only time I've had since the age of twelve
I haven't constantly thought about dying

Congrats!
Wow Zumbagirl you sound awesome! I love cars as well, I have a VW, im only 20 so I dont quite have a collection yet lol. May I ask what you do for a living? If I dont have a Porsche 911 and G-class in my driveway in my lifetime im going to be awfully dissapointed lol.

Sure thing. I work in senior management in IT in one of the Hartford ct area insurance companies. I know a good 4 more of us in this area who are living quiet lives but doing well financially. I ended up in a better position because my background is in engineering. Specifically I am a mechanical engineer by education. Before that I also worked, quite stealthily, at one of the large defense contractors in CT and even had security clearance. I am absolutely positive that the government knew of at least my name change, probably my gender one too, but it never stopped them from giving me clearance. Then again from what I saw, the government is fighting a losing battle trying to hire talent and there are just not enough engineers and scientists in this country to keep up with technology anymore.

My career took off like crazy after my transition. I think I described this way in another post on here. Before I used to have 20% of my brain thinking about what gender I was and 100% of my free time trying to fix it :) Once I was done, that 20% went down to 0%. I felt like I was set free in the world, like literally nothing could stop me. I started to have a lot of ambition and one of the first places it showed was at work. I had a laser focused mind at work, my productivity was soaring and I had never been happier. Then I got a huge raise, followed by another huge raise, followed by a huge bonus, followed by a promotion and then another promotion. In the past 10 years I have tripled my income. Suddenly, I found myself working with coworkers who owned 911, maseratis, Aston martins, range rovers, etc. I had to keep up what the joneses, so it was time to buy something cool.  I love cars, always have and probably always will.

G-classes are nice. Up near where I live is Smith College in Northampton and there are a lot of women who are driving around in g classes up around the campus. There is an unusually high concentration of g class wagons up here. If you ever saw the transgeneration TV show one of the trans guys was a student a smith, in fact we share the same endo in real life :)
