Need some input on my Face aka FFS!

Ok, so i plan on having my FFS very soon with Dr Bart van de Ven.
My planned procedures are the following:
- Brow Bossing, Hairline lowering, Brow lift
- Rhinoplasty
- Jaw Recontouring, Chin Recontouring
- Fat Injection Cheeks and Upper Lip

These are pretty much also the ones i was envisioning but i´m still a little unsure of some.
Here are some photos for reference: http://s1294.beta.photobucket.com/user/lovechia/library/Chiara (password: susans)

So overall i think i have a good basis (i´m 6 months on HRT now) but one thing that really bugs me about my face and which is the reason for my doubts is the width of my face.
I don´t know if it´s so apparent in the photos, but i feel like my face is too wide. Also too long, but shaving the chin and lowering the hairline should seal the deal on that one.
I just think my skull is too big, but that´s not changeable, so eh. :-\
What also makes me wonder is that Dr Bart Van de Ven said i didn´t need a Lip lift, only fat injection into the upper lip. The Lip Lift procedure is for decreasing the distance between the nose and the upper lip, and i´m not so sure now if in my case the distance is too large. What do you guys think? I don´t even know if the fat injection into my upper lip would cover that.

I think you have a real nice face. And may be going a bit overboard with so many procedures. I think if you just got your nose done, it would make a world of difference. I would personally skip everything else that you listed.

Thanks for your opinions.
I agree that i have very little Brow Bossing, but it´s definetely there, and as i´m extremely self-conscious about my face i´d like to have it removed as well.
It would also set back my brows, this is only apparent in the profile view, but i think they´re going a little too forward away from my eyes.
And of course it can be combined well with the Rhinoplasty. Obviously i´d like to have the hump removed, and the bridge of my nose smoothed out as well as narrowed. Additionally i´d like Dr Bart Van de Ven to remove some cartilage from the tip of my nose, and again, narrow the tip a little. Plus decrease the volume of my nostrils and maybe make them a little more round.
I also think my nasal wings are too wide but i´m not sure how those can be affected.
I think my jaw and chin area is probably what annoys me the most. The height of my chin should be greatly reduced, and my jaw angle and jawline should definetely be reduced in size as well, just to make my face smaller overall. But i also think that my face is a little too big in general, the distance between my eyes and my ears is a testament to that i think but again i´m not sure how that can be fixed.

You have a very beautiful face. Amazing lips. Even at only 6 months of HRT, it is definitely working in your favor. When people post threads like these, I often suggest they do what they feel comfortable with and what they want. I think a brow reduction and change in your nose (if that bothers you) would amplify your attractiveness. As for your concerns about your jaw/width of face, skull size...

I've been on a Dexter fix this past month, and seeing your face immediately brought to mind a character from the second season played by Jamie Murray.

Let me tell you something: you are a dead ringer for her. Seriously. I'm flipping between your 6th picture and the picture of her I just posted, and it's like looking at twins. Now, this is not to dissuade you from doing this or that to your face; that is totally your call. I just wanted to share the resemblance. Maybe you could even take cues from how she looks to help you decide what you would like done.

Wow, amazing lips as NekoKoNeko says, they are awesome. A little off the nose would help, but I'm not familiar with the results of the other procedures mentioned to comment. Good luck.

Thanks for the compliment on my lips, i do think they´re one of my best features in regards to the femininity of my face. My upper lip is a bit too short i think in comparison to my lower lip, but i´m going to have a fat injection in there like i said (in addition to the cheeks).
As for Jaime Murray: (i´m a huge Dexter fan too btw, but have yet to watch the second season (plus all the other ones except the seventh), just entered in the seventh season, which blew me away, well maybe i can´t really call myself a true fan then yet lol)
I can definitely see the resemblance in the imdb picture you posted and the picture of me you mentioned, but not to the extent of me being a dead ringer for her, i don´t see it.
As for taking cues: I constantly do that already by comparing my face to the faces of other females (mainly actresses and the like), and i think i´ve become pretty good at knowing the difference between the male characteristics and female characteristics of the face, of course there´s still individuality)
For example, i think my current nose looks much like the nose of Emily Vancamp. Here´s picture for reference: http://www.justjared.com/photo-gallery/2771844/emily-van-camp-revenge-script-review-13/fullsize/ But of course, hers is smaller, just like women´s faces are in general.
I just hope that the surgery will greatly reduce the size of my face, because that´s really my main concern. I mean i don´t really look that manly in my current incarnation face-wise, but it´s enough to make people "Sir" me (well i´m younger, so i don´t even get that often). My therapist also adviced me to grow my hair out, but i have trouble doing that as my hair tends to grow in thickness first and not in length and i´m not feeling long hair at the moment, i like short hair. And it´s just that i need to look unmistakeably female even with short hair, as is the case with cis women.

Honestly I would wait and see how much hormones affect you within the first year because I think you look really good already. Of course you can always get FFS if you want, but at 6 months of hormones I think you look great! Good luck <3

I know i should probably do this, but for me it´s just a time matter. I go back to school at the start of summer and by then i want it all to be pretty much completed.
I´ll have my name change completed by the end of March at the latest, my SRS in June/July probably, and the healing process of FFS and the end result can take up to a year to show, so since my surgery date is scheduled for early next month, i should be good for the start of summer. The only thing i have yet to start is Laser Hair Removal and Voice Therapy.
This is a little Off topic now i guess but did any of you guys have FFS while not undergone Epilation yet? I´m a little worried if it wouldn´t have been better to start it some time before FFS, but i can only start it in mid-February (which would be some time after my FFS surgery), and i´d like to know if it has any downsides to have it done after FFS instead of before. (Only concerning aesthetics, not wounds or anything, i will tell my Laser technician to avoid those areas)

@Chiara -

I guess the thing that stood out to me most when comparing you to Jamie Murray was the similar shape of your jaw and chin. Point being: maybe it's not as bad as it seems.

About Dexter: watch the other seasons first!! They talk about things in the 7th season which will either be spoilers or won't make sense unless you've seen the stuff from the other seasons. I started half way through the 5th season (and have seen all the recent episodes). Now I'm starting from season 1, and it stinks already knowing what is going to happen to certain characters.

Yeah i guess we have pretty similar chin and jaw shapes, but i don´t think it´s not as bad as it seems as to not needing surgery in that area. Maybe i´ve become a little bit crazy in that regard but i can´t get over my skull size. I´m no forensics expert but i think males have bigger skulls in general, mainly meaning the part that contains the brain. I guess it´s because males have a bigger bone structure in general. I just can´t overthink it because it depresses me real bad then. ::)

As for Dexter: I actually know about the plots of the other seasons. Well, the general plots at least. I´m not opposed to spoilers at all actually, quite the opposite since i´m writing in my free time (not professionally) and i like to spoiler myself for how the writers continue or resolve a storyline so i can get inspiration as to how i could or shouldn´t follow with my stories. But i must say, i was really disappointed at first as to which path they took down Debra in the season 7 finale (mainly because she´s my favorite character and it was really obvious that she would do what she did), but now it´s kind of grown on me. I´m really excited for the eight season. (which is supposedly the last)

I agree with the others, your face is already beautiful.

And yes, amazing lips, don't touch them!

The toplip should be smaller/thinner than the lowerlip.

The other way around or equally thick lips will produce a ridiculous looking mouth.

Only a scalpadvance and a minor nosejob wll do the trick.

yeah i agree with some of the others. i would wait a little to see what hormones do since you already have a cute fem face. but if you feel like you cant wait just dont over do it

So here i am again.
I´m sorry i couldn´t chronicle my FFS experience on here (i simply forgot this site) but i had my FFS date very early this month, and now am almost 2 weeks post-op.
I just read NekoKoNeko´s thread and don´t feel like recounting what i´ve gone through in the first few days and afterwards simply as it is really what is to be expected with a surgery like this, but here´s a short summary:

I had all off the procedures i listed in my entry post.
The cast on the nose came off earlier this week, and i have a little swelling on my nose, mainly on the tip of my nose.
The rest of the swelling is on my forehead, my upper lip and my jawline/chin area, although i don´t know if regarding my forehead it´s just the numbness.
My upper lip has gotten it worst in the swelling department, and Dr Bart Van de Ven said it could take a few more weeks for the swelling to dissipate. But thankfully it´s still winter and i can just cover that part up with a scarf. It really is kinda embarrassing to me, but thankfully i don´t have any social occupations for the next few months.

Lastly, i uploaded another set of pictures that i´ve taken just now (password is still susans), and would love to hear some feedback.
Feel free to ask me any other questions you might have.

Hey Chiara!
Sorry, I just noticed your post has been updated.
First of all, congratulations! You have gone through so many painful surgeries, which is not easy for a girl. But you knew what you wanted from the start, and you got the results you wanted. I should say, the amazing results!
From what I remember your face was before, now I see with no doubt a really cute girl!  ;) I see that there is still a swelling on your upper lip, but when it dissipates, I guess you will look beautiful.
The most important thing is that you yourself should be happy with the achieved results. Bravo!

Albina

Thanks. The pain was really not a big issue for me, the greatest discomfort for me was the fact that my nose was stuffed-up for the first 10 days in which i had the cast on and i could only breath through my mouth. I wasn´t used to that and i have very sensitive teeth, so constantly inhaling even a little bit of cold air made them hurt pretty bad for me. My nose is still not completely clear and a little swollen on the inside but it´s supposed to get better in the following weeks.
As for the (present) results: I´m still a little doubtful. I have been taking many pictures of myself and of course there´s a significant difference from before, but there are times when i´m very happy with the current result (the linked pictures are pretty good i think), but there are other times where i´m not completely convinced by what i see and already start figuring out my second surgery.
I´m going to upload some additional pictures now and some pre-op pictures. I deleted all of my self-taken pre-op pictures in a rush shortly after surgery but i have some taken by Dr Bart for his medical record, so i´m going to upload those for comparison purposes.

Okay -- where are the "before" pics? (If those *are* the "before" pics, you don't need FFS.)

I don´t know, i feel like the majority of the swelling has dissipated already. I know that it can take up to a year for the new face to settle in but i honestly can´t picture how my face is going to improve in the next months. Although if i compare this photo http://s1294.beta.photobucket.com/user/lovechia/media/Chiara/image_zps8637110b.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1 with this one http://s1294.beta.photobucket.com/user/lovechia/media/Chiara/IMG00349-20130213-2014_zpsc1a73610.jpg.html?sort=3&o=8 i can definitely recognize the improvement from just the few days that lie between. I think i´m healing rather quickly.

It´s the five pictures starting with the third in the album.

Looking good so far Chiara! I still look a bit beat up around the eyes and swollen around the jaw (from my own), but you're coming along nicely.

Nicolette

Chiara, your new face is bordering on perfection. You won't be disappointed. You make me want to do FFS all over again.  :)
