Hello me again. I just finished injecting t into my thigh and when I removed the needle more blood came out than usual. Unfortunately I was not prepare for this seeing as all the past shots I never bleed that much. This time quite a lot came out and kept going eventually it stopped. It wasn't a lot of blood to the point that it can fill up half a cup. Just lasted for a few seconds. So what I want to know is if I hit a vein? If I did do I need immediate medical attention or its something I should just leave alone and in time it will be fine? Im also assuming that a good amount of testosterone oozed out with the blood. So its safe to say that some of the t was lost?

I've had this happen to me before. The first time that I had a substantial amount of blood come after injecting, it dripped all over the floor, it looked like a crime-scene, and I panicked. Chances are likely that you nicked a vein, or your could have punctured all the way through it. You should be fine. All you can do, is hold a cotton ball over it until it stops and slap a bandaid on it. When you inject, just make sure that you aspirate before you push down the plunger - if blood gets sucked up into the needle don't inject. You don't want to pump T into a vein. As far as loosing T goes, you probably did loose some, as it didn't have time to absorb into the bloodstream. But it happens, nothing to worry about.

I bleed like this even after pulling up on the plunger, no blood. Then I inject, pull out and lots of blood. Similar problem. Anyone know whats going on?

It sounds like you've gone through a vein. Blood won't go into the plunger when the tip is in the muscle.
My doctor said that this is common, since there are so many veins running through the musculature and since there's no way to tell exactly where each one is.

Oh one more question, did your dr say it was harmful or anything?

Nah, it's nothing to be worried about. If you hit an artery, that's another thing - but you shouldn't be anywhere near arteries - at least, unless your doctor is crazy and purposely showed you the wrong way to inject. You don't want to inject T into a vein, but he said that going through it or nicking it wasn't going to hurt anything.

How do you know if you injected into a vein though? So do you think I just nicked a vein, that's why it bleed that much? Another thing I do look for veins everytime I inject but I thing this time I injected a little too close to a vein.

That, I don't know.
But if you aspirated before hand, and no blood drew up into the barrel, then theoretically speaking, you didn't.
From what I understand, you can't see all veins through the skin anyway...But I'm not entirely sure.

I'm worried I may have messed up. Though you're saying I might have nicked a vein, which explains the bleeding.  I never aspirated before, im going to start though. The nurse never told me about that ->-bleeped-<-.

What happens if you do inject into a vein? Is it very serious?

Edited for profanity

That's crazy. Any medical professional should have told you that. Yikes.

Honestly, I wish I could tell you the details, But I don't know. Looks like you'll have to do some research on it.
