My aunt, uncle, and cousins left me a voicemail singing happy birthday (quite badly, lol). And I called their house back to say thank you, and uh, since the kids don't know (and "can't" know) about me I couldn't say "hi this is Caleb." And hell to the no for saying this is birthname. So my cousin answers and I say "Uh, hi." He's completely silent because he doesn't know the voice. I go "So, uh, I got your birthday message, can you please tell your family I said thank you?" And he's like "ok..." And then I said "Ok thank you, bye" and hung up. Lolol. Awkward. -_-
They think telling the kids they have a transgender cousin would be cruel, but in my opinion it is way worse not to tell them. I look and sound EXTREMELY different after being on T for a year. Even my body changes are highly noticeable to others. And instead they are left wondering why their cousin sounds like a guy and no longer looks like "herself."
