Hi, I know it is probably annoying having me post two things in the same day but this is different from my last being that I'm curious about tucking.

I understand how to do it but I'll admit to having trouble with it... Mostly the teste bit, I wanted to know if I might get anything messed up down there and cause alot of pain for myself, plus how to deal with the extra skin. I tried to push it up a bit further and us my.. uh... you know, to hold it down a bit but some always is on the sides and I'm afraid that might end up being some kind of a give away if I let that keep happening.

Thanks very much for any help you girls can supply.

I totally started a tucking thread when I first joined this site too. I got some great advice. So far, I have not had any pain or issues with tucking. I wear one pair of panties that are 2 sizes smaller than what I need. This holds everything in place to include all the extra skin. I can wear as tight of clothes as I want to and don't have any issues.

Anything worth while for someone who can't really get their hands on decent undergarments?

I employed a similar method to .

only I used a torn up pair of my (now ex ;)) girlfriend's pantyhose and a tube sock.

I had pain for about the first week, but now no pain at all. At first I could barely cross my legs and it was slightly uncomfortable, but no longer a problem at all.

Also one really great thing I found starting out... rotating the round bits 180deg before tucking them up there (move from the bottom to forward then up) helped the connecting bits from getting constricted/bunched at all which made it way more comfortable. Seems like all the pain came from those, not the actual round bits themselves...

But now the orientation doesn't matter so much. I haven't experienced discomfort in months and I do this on the daily.

Good luck, you are gonna be fine!

Like most things the more you practice easier it gets.

Oh as Devlyn said, post baby post!

As the resident trans-rebel, I'm going to point out that tucking is not always needed..

In fact, I do it so rarely I forget the last time I did it..

I agree with Kelly, I can't see it unless I wear a dress or something but with pants I don't even notice it via the outside.

Thank you all for your advice, and I feel I should share today I tried tucking for the entire day with the tape method on the wiki (Thanks!)

And it wasn't that bad at all! I have to walk alot due to cullinary classes and even then it didn't bug me too bad, granted for a little while after I got it all set up the skin at the end felt a bit stretched but after a little bit that stopped hurting. Nobody managed to notice it (Probably due to baggy pants) but still I did feel a little up beat from it, if only a sub conscious effect.

Also to Kelly, if I do ever wear the kinds of big dresses I like I might not bother but I doubt I'm small or sneaky enough to hide it right now but still thank you very much for the advice!

I found tucking to be very painful/uncomfortable at first, mainly because they wouldn't stay up.  But HRT changed that pretty quick, they shrunk enough within a week or so that everything would pretty much go into place from snug panties.  So I don't really put much into tucking, I let the clothes do it for me.

I feel weird when I tuck because I still have masculine genitals so when I tuck my dingily bits it looks like I have a weird FUPA. One way I was shown to tuck the meat was to wrap it in toilet paper first so that the medical tape is only sticking to your butt check minimizing pain.

I am not a tucker, but if I wanted to t ry it I always wondered..... how does one pee in the middle of the day without unleashing the chtulu(or Kraken)

Seems like you would have to spend a few minutes tucking every time.

When I tape it. I do so upside down so that while sitting I can still go.

It takes me less than a second. So, there's no issue.

I always used ether a gaff or panty girdle.  they both worked nice.  Now I don't worry about it, the "T" factories are gone.

oh' the joys of tucking...
I have to say I really do hate it.

I too wear underwear bout 1 or 2 sizes too small and I also wear a pair of Spanx like compression shorts over that, helps too and then you don't have to tuck as tight if that makes sense.

I still get bites of pain here and there and its been 2 months full time, I tuck everyday.

I used to tuck, but stopped after year or two. Like Kelly mentions its not always necessary. I guess it also matters what kind of clothes you like to wear. For me I always wear a petticoat under my dresses or skirts, so there is no reason for me to tuck.
