I've been on estrogen since June 2010 and have quite small breasts.  Lately, however, I've been getting intense pangs of pain mostly in my right breast, but less painful ones in my left breast.  However, when I touch and push and prod any parts of the breast, I can't feel anything sensitive or hurting.  Is this normal?  They come and go maybe 1-3 times a day and are very unpleasant.  The only reason I'm slightly alarmed/surprised at this is that I haven't felt this kind of pain for about 2 years.

Pains and breast tenderness are usually a good sign for us MTF folk. It means that the boobs are growing. My own experience is that the growth happened in spurts, i got a little for a few months , then nothing for a few months and then I got a little more. After a good 4 or 5 years of this cycle the pains were pretty much gone and I was left with just plain old ordinary boobs that weren't tender anymore which was good since most men are about as gentle with boobs (or any other female body parts) like an alligator is to a meal!

I've had been experiencing the same kind of pains over the last 6 months or so, since changing onto a different form of E.  Surprisingly my breasts grew a few cup sizes.  Pleasing, but surprising since I transitioned many years ago.  Now things seem to have settled and the pains are fewer and less intense.

So you might find your breasts increase in size  :)
