I haven't been following what's new either. I hardly listen to the radio  . I also wait for films to come out on DVD, but that's as i have anxiety so i don't go to the cinemas.

I am a big Star Trek fan, but I am beginning to hate this new reboot series. The Enterprise looks like it was given to Xibit and he had west coast customs pimp it out, The last ship the Enterprise faced, the Vengeance looked like it was sesigned and built out of Lego and it was just a Star Trek 2 ripoff. It's Star Trek for the iPod generation.

Sorry Keaira, I've never watched Star Trek, I'd be open to it but neither it nor Star Wars have ever interested me despite my outerspace obsession. Are you sure your hate for the reboot series isn't just due to bias for the older ones?

No, because I'm not much of a fan of the original series. If the Enterprise had had a few minor changes, I could be okay with it. For example, the image below is of one redesign by a true fan who has actually done VFX work for Star Trek, and the ship below that is from the movies. J.J. Abrams was never a Star Trek fan. 

But what kills me is, J.J. Abrams had a clean slate with Star Trek after the first movie. So what does he do? He remakes Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. And how could the timeline be changed so dramatically that after the NX ships were built, the ship design changed in a major way. And he turned spock, known for his emotional control into a crybaby but original spock was still the same character we've always known.

Fun Fact: Bettina Bush, the girl who was the voice of Rainbow Brite also provided the voice of Dotty Dog when the Get Along Gang went to CBS.

Awesome! I've never seen the Get Along Gang. I dont think it ever played in the areas I lived in. A dear friend of mine sent me an original Starlite doll for my birthday and just before that, Caleb sent me a Starlite Pillow Pet. When I was little, I wanted this Starlite toy but my Mum wouldn't let me have it. Years later, I have that very toy, still boxed in its original packaging tucked away and a Starlite to snuggle with

If you could go back in time and steal credit for one thing (invention, painting, book, idea...) what would it be?

I would take a bunch of fancy future gadgets with me (such as my iPhone) and steal credit for those. Then I would say I was God or whatever and have all the people in the far past worship me. Yeah that's it. ^.^
