Well bloody hell somehow my mom found out I'm trans, or maybe just had a lucky guess to piss me off. So I figured hey I'll vent and ask something that is now scratching the back of my head pretty bad.

Ok mostly ask if anyone here thinks if since she does know, and possible told the rest of the family with how she is, should I ask her to help me out a little bit? I would happily go off on my own for this but I've got about a year of high school left, half this semester and a make up next year, and then college which with the courses I've picked it isn't going to be allowing very much time for a job or questioning myself over and over. I was thinking that because when she talked to me she said its ok if I am trans that she might be willing to help me get it into my life a bit more, buying some healthier foods to help lose weight (Why yes I am slightly over weight in case it confuses anyone) and maybe after a year or two when I've gotten into the groove of it all should I ask her about helping me get hormones?

Thank you all for any advice you give.  If you feel the need to scold me I won't be angry about it.

if she says it's okay, then it may be worth talking about any gender dysphoria with her (or getting you to see a therapist). It certainly wouldn't hurt and it would get the whole therapy thing out of the way for when/if you do choose to pursue hrt. If you know you're trans, and she knows and is fine with it, then you may as well come out to her now since you'll have to do it eventually.

Just my two cents. Of course, if there's something I'm missing or unaware of, the final decision is all yours.

Of course you should talk to her about it and try to get her to help you if that is what you want.

She already knows and she already said she is OK with it so whats the problem?

Coming out is one of the hardest things so you should be happy!
