Hi.

I was wondering about one thing. How do I identify myself when going home after FFS abroad? I mean probably I wont look like I do in the passport.

What are your experiences?

you get a cover letter from the surgeon.  it basically says that you have had extensive craniofacial surgery and as such your appearance may differ from that on your passport.

if someone holds you up after that, you can show them that.  i found that TSA didn't even flinch and just let me past with the passport.

I had no problems coming back through customs from Canada to the US, and my face was still in bandages, I still had at that time a male drivers license, and yet I got no hassles at all. Maybe customs thought I was a redneck and lost a fight with a bunch of Canadians, who knows. :)
