Does anyone Still Shave? (not the face)

I was thinking about this a bit last night and now i'm curious. Does anyone here still shave? I'm not talking about shaving one's facial hair but other parts of the body (i'm not referring to pubic hair either, mostly just legs, arms, etc). When I noticed I was getting a trail up my stomach I shaved it because I didn't really want a hairy gut, but recently I gave up because it's growing so fast and I'm kind of curious now to see how it looks.

I also have very hairy legs but I wouldn't shave them because it helps me pass when I wear shorts, though i've considered shaving my thighs because I find hairy thighs unattractive.

So yeah, anyways i'm just wondering if any other guys still shave and if so, what do you shave? (again not interested in face or private bits)

When I came out and started transitioning, I stopped shaving. The belly thing happens to me too, and I like having it. It makes me feel more masculine. I always thought of shaving as one of those thing you have to do when you're a girl, an unwritten social rule, that I get out of now that I'm a dude

I shave my chest but only because I haven't had top surgery yet. It's kinda funny that I do that because I'm hairy everywhere but that hair bothers me. At least I can justify it by telling myself I do it so my binder doesn't pull on the hair.

I only shave my armpits sometimes. I had a weird dream in which I shaved my legs and suddenly woke up and was like WTF?? Said it out loud and then fell asleep again.  ::)

I haven't shaved my legs in months, but brazilian summers are way too warm for me to be comfortable with not shaving my armpits. haha

Crookedjaw

on occasion i shave my armpit hair. it becomes too much of a jungle in there haha but i don't really shave anything besides that.

I revel in the freedom of not having to shave.

(though I might do underarms once I can go shirtless post surgery cause that sorta looks out of place)

I still live as a woman, but I don't shave anything apart from my underarms. I never have, really; it offends me that I should have to spend ages shaving huge areas of my body just because society has decided it's too ugly on people with genitals like mine. At least beards and underarms make sense to shave, since they can get food caught in them or stink, respectively.

That said, I always hide my legs from view, unless I have no choice, in which case I shave them. The pressure to have smooth legs is just too much. If I transition one day, it'll be wonderful to be allowed to feel pride in my leg hair for once.

Pre-transition here but no I don't shave.  Heck, I want it to grow all out but sadly my genes don't allow for that.  If I could be a super hairy woman then that would be awesome!

Nope, no shaving anything other than face. Quit that years and years and years ago, probably the second I got out from mother's thumb.

I have never ever shaved in my entire life, ever. Maybe that's why nobody liked me at school. :(

Even now, though, I'm extremely lazy and rarely shave my face. I'm not exactly capable of proper facial hair but I do get all of that of silly pre-teen fluff which is kinda gross, so I should really make a habit of it.

I shave my legs rarely...mostly when I get to a certain point where the hair kind of stops growing and my legs look silly.   Or if, for some reason, I have to wear a skirt.  Generally I don't shave my legs, though.  I find the idea silly and I don't think anyone should be necessitated by that stupid rule to shave their legs and their arm pits.

Amanda Palmer doesn't shave her armpits so why should I?

I never shaved anything pre transition, exept for my armpits in a period but I also stopped on that.

now whatever or not I shave depends on my mood, I am not a fan of hair, but depending on where it is and how much it can be okay.

I am not a fan of my belly hair, but its not so much I got, so the little part I have only makes me fell fluffy.

I never shave my legs anymore, but I do shave my armpits sometimes because the hair I have there is so wispy and thin and completely not masculine.

It's sad that other people influence so many in regards to how much or how little body hair they have. If you like it or don't, that's perfectly fine to either do or don't do something about it. But it always rubbed me the wrong way that western women especially have been pressured to the point of being blatantly looked down upon or made fun of, etc. for not shaving parts of their bodies.

And in recent history the whole "metro" male thing has hit hard so you have a sub section of guys "manscaping" and shaving other parts to suit other people's standards.

I'm kind of like Simon in that I shave any hair off my chest. Granted there's not a ton of it so it's not a big deal but I just can't deal with both the hair and the moobs. Not sure why. It's just one of those things with me. I would definitely not be cool with belly hair or having a hairy back either. Waxing or something would need to happen!

I sometimes groom my underarm hair, but that's it. Idk shaving doesn't appeal to me, even for the face. It's unpleasant.

I shave absolutely nothing. I'm growing my facial hair out.

I shave in the summer only because I wear shorts for work, where I present female.  I feel it would be inappropriate to have hairy legs in my work with the public at this point.  I absolutely hate it, though.  In the winter I don't shave it at all. and I don't shave anything that won't be seen at work-- so I don't shave my underarms or thighs or feet (I have really hairy feet, but they're covered with my shoes at work...) or chest or stomach or anything, although they're all pretty hairy for a pre-t guy (actually, going my forearms, I'm hairier than some my cismale friends).
In between the lines there's a lot of obscurity.
I'm not inclined to resign to maturity.
If it's alright, then you're all wrong.

I shave my legs & underarms & chest.  8) I don't like sleeping with hairy legs, it's always really bothered me. When I first got leg hair I didn't shave for years and I had to wear long pants to sleep in because it just kept me awake at night. I really like the feeling of having smooth legs. I don't pass as it is yet, but I'm not really worried about my legs stopping me from passing later on. I've known a couple of cis guys who shave their legs, and I usually wear pants as it is.

I've never been much in favor of chest or underarm hair, though I really just shave under my arms to avoid it poking me. If my chest hair were in the middle of my chest like a lot of cis guys I don't know if I would mind it as much, but as it is it's sort of patchy and all over and there isn't very much of it, so it looks weird (also I have very light skin and dark hair.)
