I just felt like I had to share this with someone. I wore a binder (well a make shift one), my hair tied back and looser cloths than normal to college for the first time ever. The best way to describe it was mixed result. No one noticed much of a difference, but my boyfriend did notice a change in behaviour, which he put down to it being the first day back after half term . I was surprised he didn't notice I bound my chest when we hugged, but I was never that big anyway.

A bit more of a success is that while walking through the college a cleaner referred to me and my boyfriend as lads. Not sure what other strangers had to say as the only coat I could wear has an elasticated waist which destroyed almost every effort I put into my appearance. Well despite that, I feel really good about it.

Congrats bro  ;D Wearing a binder in public is a huge step. Huge confidence boost. And you were correctly gendered to boot   :)
