Hi there. I'm Evan, or simply Pony. I'm a 30 year old and am now embarking on a journey I have long denied myself. I am FTM, and am currently doing all my homework to enable my transition.
I don't know if I would be considered "late in life" trans, as I've known since I was 12 or 13 that there was something incongruent with my physical being and inner self. I've been in therapy for other mental health issues for many years, and the topic of transgender kept coming up. It was finally clear for me earlier this month that in order to be truly comfortable and whole, I would need to make the outside match the inside. Cliche, maybe, but it's the best way I can explain it.
Other things about me: I'm an artist and musician. I have worked as a teacher but am resigning at the end of this school year and will be pursuing another career path. I am also a parent to a young son. I have many tattoos and plan to keep collecting those as well.
