I had a funny experience the other day at my local gender center.  The therapist has a cabinet of video game memorabilia- including action figured and statues.  Only a handfull, but amusingly they where all strangely fitting.

You see I had actually worked on three of the characters he had models for, and that an action figure he also had (a Strogg from quake 2) also had a transgender link as the great Jennell Jaquays had worked on that at id software (shes credited as Paul).  What are the odds?

I thought it would warm the hearts of a few of you to know that many of your video games experiences may have a ts link.  Its one of the friendlier industries for us, thankfully.

Rebecca Heineman of former game giant Interplay (currently with SCEA) also transitioned. If it was in the 80's or on Mac she probably has influence (Bard's Tale 3 most notably).

Oh yes- another great example.

I plan to be vocal in the industry after I transition, but have to wait until we are ready to come out to my wifes family- a couple are gamers, and a chunk of them are religeous and somewhat intolerant.
