              the purest love

women together hold the purest love
one tenderly smiling at the other above
kissing softly while showing their heart
such beautiful love, such moving art

one can be strong while the other is weak
roles can change as challenges peak
women in love are stronger than one
carry each other thru darkness and sun

hearts that were torn by family and friend
now grown together,  one till the end
living in peace never in strife
women together in a beautiful life

their love is mistaken by many nearby
ignorance can't lessen the breathless sigh
women together hold the purest love
one tenderly smiling at the other above

Ditto that, this is lovely, Beth.  The rythym of the lines flow so eaily and combined with the beautiful sentiment expressed in them, makes my heart sigh....

Dearest Beth,

As always, your sense of emotion and your highly capable means of expressing such feelings is totally amazing to my heart. I thank you deeply for this latest and truly heartbreakingly beautiful sharing. I can only so deeply wish for such an experience to occur between myself and my most incredible mate as she still struggles daily with all of the consequences and the potential outcomes of all of this.

I love you,
Thanks always,

Sincerely,

Annagirl

Hi beth,

Your very beautiful poem expresses something that I have known for a very long time.  Women do have very close and loving relationships.  They often hug and kiss each other on the neck or cheek when they first meet.  This is not considered unusual because it is just part of being feminine.  I guess it's part of the maternal instinct.

When I listen to my wife talking with one of her girl friends, she almost always ends by saying "I love you".   I think this is why I have always admired two women who live together and love each other as one.  This is possibly the most beautiful love two people can know.
