I was wondering how often in a given day would you say you are crossdressed? and how many days in a month would you say you crossdress?

Recently the desire to crossdress has diminshed and not been as strong as a desire as it once was. In other words I was wondering if anyone has noticed a pattern to there cross dressing. This question is for CD's.

I do it when I have a reason to do so, i.e. in any event where I can wear a costume.

My pattern of when I crossdress has changed quite a bit over the years.  When I started crossdressing as a child I would do it when the opportunity arose--when I was home alone or otherwise not to be disturbed.  The opportunistic pattern continued in my teenage and early twenties, but the opportunities were often quite few.  After I married I started wearing my wife's clothes on occasions when I could do this in secret.  The opportunistic pattern was there but living with a woman increased the opportunities.  For much of my married life I would probably crossdress two or three times a year and never for more than a few hours at a time--usually for much less time.

About ten years ago, when I was in my 50's, this changed dramatically.  I told my wife that I was a crossdresser and acquired my own feminine wardrobe.  Now I crossdress at home approximately once a week.  Generally, after I get home from work on Friday I will change into a skirt and put on my makeup.  I don't undress until it is time for bed.  Sometimes I will wear women's clothing for at least part of the day on Saturday, depending on the day's schedule.  When I am on vacation I will occasionally be dressed en femme for an entire day, but this is rare.  My wife is comfortable with my dressing en femme at home.  We have grown children who are all living away from home.

Only from ages 33-39 or so, I'd start crossdressing around October 1st trying to find an outfit/presentation that would allow me to pass on Halloween... I'd go out on Halloween... then put everything away for another year. Repeat as necessary, lol.

I dress 1-3 times a week; more on rare occasions. There are those times I don't feel like dressing or lack the opportunity. I wear panties all the time so I guess I'm dressed all the time  .

When I am in the mood. It could be in the evening at home, or at the week-end going for a walk or shopping. Going to parties etc... But when I am not it can be a drag!

I've not had much desire to CD lately, I rarely tuck the junk anymore, I only sleep in a babydoll at night but still dont tuck anything and thats as far as it goes.  I am trying to meet a woman and start my life before my parents leave mine. Don't want to end up like my brothers, 40 and still single.  Dont know if I'll be able to have kids but it'll sure be fun trying.

I always thought it as being odd to have desires to dress as a girl and then bamm all of a sudden its pretty much over and then its back...process repeated itself for about 15 years I started when I was 12, theres a life I once had honestly I don't remember much about it it was 15 years before computers became PC's the mouse was an animal. Odd how 4 near death occurances seem to change ones outlook on life, I'm thankful to be able to walk, not be paralyzed from 2 heart attacks, or have died from choking on a piece of food-only thanks to the Mayo Clinic and 2 weeks of doing nothing in recovery and that happened 5 days before Christmas.

Its almost stupid to not think the other way around, if only mens clothing was as unique, complicated and interesting as womens I'd be very happy, compare the mens department with the womens department, its nearly 4 times larger. LOL

As far as a pattern goes, i am also a TS but I had my cross-dressing days as well. at one point in time it was almost everyday since i was living on my own.  Then once I got involved with a new gf that went down to once every 4 or 5 months. after we broke up it was a very rare thing for me and maybe only once a month or so. Then once I was outed as a TS to a couple of hundred people, I made the decision to be dressed whenever I went out in public and wasn't at work. So, depending on what is happening in life, it comes and goes but doesn't ever go away for good.

I am usually about 3-4 times a week. My mom often travels around the state so I have a couple days to dress as I feel(my mom doesn't know I'm a crossdresser and would flip if she knew)

Used to do it a lot, 3 or 4 times a week. Lived by myself. Then I totally stopped. Decided I didn't want to be looked at as a freak. I didn't purge -- I kept the clothes and all for years. Every time I moved, a little more got tossed. The shoes and my favorite purse went into the dumpster five years ago. Now it's been 20 years since I've dressed, and I'm starting to think, Hmm, maybe I need to rev up the engines again. Being over 50 sucks on account of the bags under the eyes and all that, but hey, I know lots of women over 50, and they seem to manage okay.

My new motto: It's always okay to look nice.

I sometimes can dress at my job. I am nearly alone sometimes, isolated in an entire sectioin of a very large complex where my office is at.
I will arrive at work dressed 'normal', check in and head for my dept. Now I will be alone for at least 7 hours.
I will mostly everything, lingerie, slacks, blouse, a long hairpiece, make-up, heeled pumps. I do all of my work En Femme, visit other offices, talk on the phone, take my breaks, nearly everything that I'm responsible for.
It is so nice to walk everywhere, feeling the part, just being Linsey at work.

Everyone was away this weekend, I spent all of the time En Femme, did all my housework, cooked, take care of the dogs, do a little yard work.

I have a boyfriend I see once or so a week and I dress for him.  So I'd say once or twice a week.

I am not passable but I get more that way as time goes on.  When I was a child I would wear my moms panties as often as I safely could.

I always under-dress.  I spend about 1 evening a week fully on femme, on average.  Every couple months I go out of town on business, and any evenings where I am not doing business dinners or working late I will be en femme.  I usually travel to California, so my trips are a lot of fun!

Any more time than that would cut unacceptably into my male life, which would not make me happy.  Sometimes the balance is a pain, but that's life as a CD...
