Binding pain

Ok I know this is bad and everything but I bind with parcel tape. I've tried with sports bras and just layering and basically everything I can get my hands on and nothing works. I'm getting really awful back pain and it sucks, but I can't buy a binder because I don't have the means to order one online. I'd need a debit card I think, which I don't have. I'm not sure what to do because I can't go without binding but I'm in constant pain from it and I don't know what is better, pain or dysphoria. Are there any places you can buy binders (or things that work like binders) not online? Or any way of getting like a temporary card or something that I could use online? I'm getting desperate. :/

Check with the binder manufacturers to see if a prepaid credit card will work (it should) then arrange the shipping for pickup at the local shipping distribution point. Hugs, Devlyn

It would seem to be unsafe to be bound by something that will not allow for expansion when you breath.  Check into PayPal or something of that kind.

Pay pal won't work unfortunately because I don't have the right kind of bank account to link up with it (I'm still with a children's account and will be until I leave home in September). What's a pre paid credit card and how do you go about getting one? I can't make any payments to anything directly out of my bank account unfortunately.

Check out prepaid Visa cards. I have my paychecks setup to direct deposit on one and it works like a normal card, except it will never overdraft, which is god for a shoe addict like me!

You can use it online and in stores, and you can get one with any name you choose. Try and find one with little to no fees, and you can even find fee free ATMs. I use money network, but you can get them WalMart (eww) or drug stores like Walgreens. You can find reload locations on the cards website, and the WalMart option actually will allow you to reload in one of their classy establishments.

You need to do something man. It's not healthy for you, and you need to take care of your body. While we can make additions and adjustments, we ultimately only get one.  Good luck and I hope you can figure it out!

Grocery stores sell the prepaid cards.

Just take one to the counter and give them cash, they apply that to the card and it then is used like any credit card.

Can you experiment with something that may be lying around your home? Some cotton sheet for example, perhaps some strong elastic.

Understand your desire to bind, but you will need to be careful and some expansion for breathing is understandably important.

Wishing you every success. I think we are well aware of how important this issue is for you.

But I do hope you can be guided by some experienced hands. Done badly, you can hurt yourself.
