I seen my doctor today and she was surprised to see that the ultrasound didn't show anything. She felt my chest again and felt two lumps and insisted they were cysts. She told me that I have 'fibrocystic breast disease' and prescribed me a anti-inflammatory. Can she really diagnose me with that without any testing?

Probably. I'll bet more than one person will come along and diagnose you just from reading your post!

It's always good advice to seek a second opinion if you have concerns. Hugs, Devlyn

I agree re: second opinion. One thing these cysts are not necessarily "disease". It seems some percentage of FAABs have these. I don't know if you could go on to say they were "normal" but perhaps in the normal range. I don't know if that is the case with you, but it could be. I'd say second opinion. Most insurance plans are pretty sympathetic to these (as sometimes it means no treatment for them).
