Not sure where is best to post this so feel free to move it if necessary

My GP has referred me to a clinic in Glasgow called Sandyford, seems to be the only one in Scotland that deals with this. I was wondering if anyone else here has been there? Just wanted an idea of what to expect when I can eventually get there, how quickly they get things going (in terms of starting HRT and surgery), whether you could have surgery and stuff done on the NHS etc.

My GP told me to talk to another about it first (as Im between 2 addresses right now told I have to register where Im living at uni) then I can be referred to Glasgow. As Im stuck doing a Masters degree right now and really dont have much time to do this yet unfortunately I might not be able to get there for awhile yet and Im getting really impatient to get all this started. Want to find out as much about it all in advance as I can so I know what to expect when it does finally happen. I've read full documents on the surgery procedures but I just wanted to know about this for personal experience at the clinic
