Hey all,

First, I wanted to thank you all for creating such a beautiful resource for people like us. It is wonderful.

Anyway, I just wanted to give a quick update and ask maybe one or two questions.

I'm a month into low dose estrogen only. Im 26, very thin and very tall.

After a week, I noticed my nipples were permanently pointy and would swell up at night or after eating.

After two weeks, I noticed a lump under one of my nipples and both were quite sore.

After three weeks, I noticed a lump in the other side and very puffed nipples at night.

Now, after four weeks, the pain has lessened but it seems I'm filling out more. My nipples also remain quite puffed.

Tonight, I was poking my nipples and some clear fluid, less than a pea came out. What does this mean? Also, is it normal to be seeing this kind of nipple and light chest change this early on?

Anyway, maybe some of you can weigh in on what you've experienced/are experiencing. I've been taking pictures of myself and there is a marked change. I've also been scouring the internet for visual resources of documented change but have come up nil. Any help here?

Thanks for everything!

I would not be too worried about the clear liquid.  It is nature's way of keeping the milk ducts open.

If the discharge is brown, bloody, or smells of pus, see your doctor.

Thanks for replying!

Yeah, it is totally clear. I have heard other girls experiencing the same thing, so I will calm down about it. Does the pain in my chest come in cycles?

Thanks again!

Yeah, the clear fluid is most likely normal, although if it continues it can't hurt to mention it to your doc the next time you get a chance (no rush).

I had the breast buds and visible changes and tenderness when they bounced by day 5 - I thought for sure it was wishful thinking because it was SO early, but my wife noticed it too - and took pictures every week for the first year or so. There were noticeable changes almost every single week, although it did get more subtle as time went on. (I think I gave up with the photo project around a year in. I'm at 3 years now and 38DD to 40DDD depending on the bras.) Sorry, though, I'm not comfortable posting pics of my boobs to the internet. :)

Awesome, thank you so much for the reassurance!

I will indeed mention it to my doc. I will say that it's a huge weight off my mind to know that it doesn't seem to be a huge deal. I kind of like that I leak a bit  ;D makes me feel more lady like! I'm doing the same thing you did Jenna. I take a picture every day. By the end of the third week, one can clearly see that my nipples have puffed and stand up off the rest of my chest when before they were flush. I understand not wanting to share. I feel similarly private about mine and I have next to nothing. Here's to growing, lol! Again, thanks for the replies. Anyone else have any similar experiences?

I had the clear liquid phenomenon 2 weeks ago. Might've been able to squeeze it out sooner, but I didn't touch them since they were sore.   I looked up online and people said it's normal, so that calmed me then. At 9 weeks, I notice that they're more sensitive than before, a light hug now hurts whereas before (2 weeks ago?ish) it was ok.
