Got my Name Change!

It's been2 months since I started the ball rolling on my Name change. Court came and went, and had to wait.... then they send my fingerprints to the wrong department and they had to be retrieved and that process had to be done over. However today I got the phone call I've been waiting for. My final Order was in!
I should have it by next week and then comes changing all my important papers. Such as my Bank Account, Drivers Licence, and SSI card. But right now I'm just going to enjoy my Victory in the battle to become my true self!

Congrats.....=) In Massachusetts the Law allowed me to change my gender to female and I am not post op yet but in Massachusetts I am a legal woman, cool huh?

Yesterday I did a whirlwind, I had to take a day off off anyway because of an appointment at my Doctor's office for a medical assistance meeting, got my DL 32 signed as well when I was there, I got to Social security ( the office I had to go was also in center city) did my change over there, got back into my area I live in and went to the DMV, got my Drivers license changed, both name and gender Marker. so yesterday was a good day

It's awesome when all the paperwork lines up (well, most anyway...Soc Sec won't do the gender change until the surgery...but that's just something else to look forward to!! (Two things, actually!))
