Hello Ladies, with so many things still going on with my brother's transplant reject, I went out to Ross to go shopping on Thursday to try to change my mood. I'd already had the pink and lavender maxi for several months, but I've just really started to wear it the last few weeks. The shopping didn't help much, but I really love the new maxi.   I'm so sorry it's taken me this long to thank you. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your thoughts and prayers for my brother and family. And I greatly appreciate your compliments. Sometimes I feel so exhausted, stressed and washed out that I feel like the color has gone right out of me. With my insane existence before transitioning, I have no doubt that I not only couldn't have held it together and be the caregiver I am to my mom and brother, I would have been a basket case in dire need of assistance myself. Truthfully though, I don't think I had two more years of drugs, drinking, self hatred and depression left in me. So, in spite of all the things that are happening in my life right now, I'm really very happy, and can't believe how fortunate I am to be alive and at two months short of my 59th birthday, the best days of my life are still ahead of me!!! God bless 'Susan's Place' and every one of you gorgeous, awesome and very special ladies. First day back working at a company I haven't worked with for like 5 years! Anyone else get super happy when people don't even recognize you from before transition? This day was filled with those reactions! To see them look at you and then not realize at all. Then you walk up to them and just kind of wave and smile.. and after a few seconds their faces go through like 5 different emotions all at once before they are like "WAT". Loooooove that!


Second day at work


A party last weekend. It's water in the martini glass! I'm still not allowed to drink I'm very happy with the fat redistribution effects I'm getting from HRT. My thighs and butt are really shaping out.

I think it's the fact your able to be yourself completely instead of trying to keep up the male act which makes you a better employee. Also it doesn't hurt that your freaking gorgeous!!!

Maybe there is a difference but I dunno, I've always been a driven worker. Honestly deep down I feel like exactly the same person I ever was, and I kinda like it that way! And thanks for the compliment, I do tend to think that trying to look nice at a job does make a big difference!

Like I have said in the past, if I could wear dresses every day I would! Fridays do seem like a nice day for leggings though so I do make exceptions You should move to LA anyway! Or at least come and visit, cause then we could hang out! There is tons of trans stuff going on here. I was just at the Trans Pride event today in Hollywood and I saw my therapist as well as about 400 other beauties there

Hey that would be cool! I actually found out about it here on Susan's. Someone posted a thread about the Trans Pride thing going on this weekend, and then I realized one of my friends actually works at the LGBT center .. so I decided to visit her when she was on her break at the event

I would love to go to one of these events with some people from here, though. That would be too much fun and such a great way / atmosphere to meet new people!

There is actually still a lot of stuff I've never worn I should honestly probably try to figure out more new combos before shopping anymore but that's not really a promise or a goal I can realistically hold myself to... if you know what I mean
