went to get more foundation at the mall today with my BF, decided to take a couple pics

I didn't turn up the contrast, it's just the bright lighting in that room :P

So.. earlier today I get a facebook message from my ex-girlfriend in high school asking if I was now a woman, saying she heard rumors. I guess my mom told someone and it spread through my hometown. We talked for a while and she said it really came as no shock to her. I'm going to go out with her tonight to a drag show. I'm crazy nervous. This is my first time since full-time with someone that far back in my past. I know it's probably all in my head and things are going to go fine. I've changed outfits about 20 times in the past couple of hours. I've settled on this;

Good, bad? I want to make a good impression on her. I'm not interested in her other than friends, she's just someone that I really liked a lot. We were pretty much best friends before and after we dated.

You look great Michelle!! Nice choice on outfit, very stylish, very you and not too much for a first encounter. I think she's going to be wowed by you, have a great time. Just know that she wants to reconnect with you and she already knows you're transgender so no having to come out of the closet, just show her a great time  ;D

Got some current shots of my ugly mug!

Maid,

I have tried very hard for several days to find words that would do your beauty justice.  I can't find them.  None will sufficient.  The joy in your face!

I cannot see your pictures and not be encouraged.

Thank You,

Jen
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

Though I can not speak for all the denizens of the Androgyne Forest, I can confidently say that many of us think you are as cute as a button.

Jamie, awww, thank you <3

But I've decided to be faithful to the forest, so I'll always mix my clothings :D

I think you look great!  I hope your re-connection went well.

Thanks girls (and guy) for all the compliments. I'm still changing more and more and its amazing how far I've come in just over a year on hormones. I actually took those photos for a dating site so sorry if they look kinda...idk...can't think of a word for it. Good news is they get me a lot of attention and I've got a 4th date with a guy who accepts me for myself this weekend!
"For transpeople, using the right pronoun is NOT simply a 'political correctness' issue. It's core to the entire struggle transpeople go through. Using the wrong pronoun means 'I don't recognize you as who you are.' It means 'I think you're confused, delusional, or mentally I'll.'. It means 'you're not important enough for me to acknowledge your struggle.'"

Wow MaidofOrleans, you look more and more fabulous as time passes! Very stunning!

And Michelle, I love those glasses on you, and you look amazing in that dress with the cardigan button on top creating that little diamond above your chest.

Hideyoshi,

You are cute.  However, I think you will look better when you smile.  You're that kind of girl, use it! ;D

Hugs,

Jen
