Hey guys. I'm not exactly transgender (to be honest I have no idea what I am, i just know I don't want to be a woman). But I figured this forum applies to me also.
Sorry for the terrible photos, they were taken with an iPod and in a hurry. I have my hoodie because I still have long hair (going to cut it in December/january, after I finish school -cant wait-) and thought this way you could portray better how my face would look with short hair. You think I pass?

By the way can any of you tell me what haircut would look well on me and help me pass? thanks

Curious what you folks think.

I pass about 70% of the time at work. If I darken my natural facial hair I pass 100%. I'll take a picture with my facial hair darkened probably tomorrow. It passes on the street just fine, I wandered around Edmonton and have around town as well without anyone noticing it's just darkened. Not sure how it'll show on photos though.

My DP is also with drag-style make-up on. Tried to show mostly full to 3/4 body pictures though. I have very few full body pictures, lol.

My hips and shoulders are my big downfall. My shoulders are rounded in so they aren't anywhere as broad as they could/should be. My hips are still pretty big as well, although i've recently went down a size which is cool. I have a lot more work to do to bring them down though. If my shoulders were more broad it wouldn't be as big of a deal.

I actually attended the funeral of a close friend of mine the same day the last photo was taken. My friend's death is what pushed me to get my haircut after being afraid of what people will think of me. Made me realize that life is too short to worry about what other's think of me. I can't live in the closet for much longer and I don't want to. I'm finally ready to start transitioning and I hope to come out (again) to my mom soon.

Anyway, I'm rambling. Do I pass? At first I was worried I just looked like a butch lesbian, be honest everyone! I was actually passing the day of the funeral because I was in a black dress shirt and tie. I didn't think I would but I did so that was pretty great! I've ordered a binder so I guess I'll take a full body shot when I get it.

Wolfy: You pass as a young boy to me, around 14ish but the sunglasses in your profile pic make you hard to read.

@Fries: That Haircut really changes the whole dynamic of your face, it makes you so much more masculine looking. To me you seem passable but, I do get a lesbian vibe from the glasses though. Bravo on the haircut though, was totally the right choice for you.

StirfriedKraut you pass to me totally.  I'm not a fan of the beard but only because it looks too clean to be real xD if that makes any sense.  But you did say drag style so XD Anyways you will seriously look fantastic with a beard all said.  But yeah you don't look female at ALL to me.

Wolfy you pass to me.  That pic looks wicked, cool costume/makeup.  Not sure about your avatar XD but fun glasses xD.  You do look really young though, maybe 14ish

Silver Centurion You also pass to me.  Man what's up with everyone passing!! lol for some reason I think you pass better in the jersey pic though.  Maybe it's the glasses? I'm not sure.

Fries: Man! What a great haircut dude, makes a big diff for sure.  You look passable to me but for really young as well.  I think you look really good in glasses actually, though a different frame would probably help a bit. But to me it doesn't hinder you passing much idk why. You look great!

This is me, pre-everything and I wear binder (you don't see in the pic but I'm flat).
To be onest, in Italy where I live I often pass but what do you think?
I tend to pass more wearing sunglasses than without...don't know why. That's why I like to take pics with sunglasses.

Kiwi: You definitely pass to me in both the pic you posted and the one in your avatar. I've also noticed that I pass far more with aviators on. I'm not sure if it's a facial structure thing or the fact that sunglasses are a major confidence booster.

Fries: That cut looks really good on you, especially since I've always found it very, very hard to pass with short hair without resembling a butch. Congrats on making it work!

Silver Centurion: I think you definitely pass, but better in the second pic. I second Evan of Spades' suggestion about the glasses. Not that they aren't cool, but I've always found that the more angular the frames, the better. Anyway, I love your hair!

Klaus: Thank you for that! I'm glad you like my hair. I've only had it that way for about two weeks now. My glasses are kinda a problem though. I need to work on that but I can't read without them and things get fuzzy at a distance. It's fixable though and I really appreciate all the input. I'll definitely look for more angular frames when I can replace them.
