Ok I dyed my shadow of a 'stache. Not a great picture off photo booth. I'd like to do it darker next time but I was worried that it would get too dark and so unrealistic. The glasses are readers which I need for the computer screen. Don't really wear glasses.

Well thank you (I think).

I should have said, from one old broad, you look good for an old duffer. But hey, we know we're really still just kids since our rebirths anyway huh Jay?

Just curious as to what age I'm passing for in this photo.

It looks great! If you don't mind me asking, how did you dye it? Did it stain your skin at all? Was it hard to do? I've been thinking about doing it, but I don't want to mess up my face, especially since I work full time.

I'd guess 25.  I'd believe anywhere from 20-30

Darn Thomas! You are cute!
Thanks, Jay! I saw your photos and I'm impressed of your braveness. You look perfect and I don't see anything female in your appearance despite of lacking facial hair.

Guys what do you think how old I look? Do I still look like a teenager? I'm afraid of going to the night club where you must be at least eighteen and it's hard to live this way.

Thomas1993 Hey, I think you pass as male, though you do look under 18 to me. I initially though 14ish when I saw your photos. Though go to the nightclub and see if they ask for your ID or not.  :)

Thanks. I used Just for Men Mustache and Beard. It comes in two tubes which you mix together. It's very simple to use (takes maybe 15 minutes including clean up and prep) and you would probably get many uses out of a package.  Just cap the tubes tightly. I used Light Brown.  I did NOT have any trouble with it dying my skin and my stache is very thin. If all you have is peach fuzz it wouldn't be recommended as it just dyes skin. I actually have hair growth, but it is very light, perhaps gray. You should wash your face after use. It would dye it if you don't remove right away. Someone told me he has to wash a few times, but I didn't have that trouble. He has very dark hair so that's maybe why. This friend of mine suggested to use a very small thin brush which I think is a good suggestion. It comes with a big thick brush which wouldn't work with a small stache like this.

Not sure about y'all, but where I live, the nightclubs ID everyone, even if you look 40.

AlixJungle You look great, you seem to have a masculine face, I don't see any of the femme fat on the cheeks or anything. Can't wait to see more progress.  :)

I have to admit, I don't really go to clubs, more of bar or restaurant drinking for me. Either way, he'll know if they start looking closely at his ID.  :)

Thanks. I am only 5'1" and small frame, but I am passing 50% of the time. I have no idea why I get gendered correctly half the time and misgendered half the time. The whole process is odd. I see male when I look at myself which makes me happy.

Spacerace; oddly enough I think you pass better in the second pic. I think you pass based on that photo, but as pretty young.

And AlixJungle; you pass with flying colours man! I don't even see anything feminine in your face. Looking great!

AlixJungle: you look amazing! Total pass! I think you absolutely belong in the badass thread with those pics.

Jay: you always look so happy in your pics. I always end up with a grin on my face when you post one if your smiley pics.  It's awesome!  I love that tache! Very cool.

Spacerace: In my opinion you should avoid buzz cuts like the plague. We tend to have smaller heads than cis guys and it can be hard to judge overall hairline.  Buzz cuts accentuate a smaller head and while they can seem like a go to for a masculine look, more often than not they wind up looking more feminine than masculine bad-ass. Short, but not too short is, in my opinion, the best way to go. There's a fine line between short and masculine and too short and you're in Sinead O'Connor/Alien3 Ripley territory and it becomes a more feminine look. Even cis guys can't always pull it off. When Matt Damon was growing out his hair after shaving it for Elysium, for a while it looked pretty awful until he had decent length.

Imo your hair in the 2nd pic looks great for the age you're passing at.
