Umm, Dalex, yeah... You look like my best female friend's son - he is 14 and in his puberty (all covered in acne :P). But given Your hair length and overally ruffled up look... there indeed is a lot of similarities between You two :).

I suppose I'm lucky I am not covered in acne then :P Actually was really lucky about acne when I was going through puberty. Only got two on my forehead and one on my chin, seems to run in the family that guys have it much better then the girls when it came to puberty acne, so my sisters and cousins were not so happy with me xD

I never got acne either! Though my T-zone gets shiny enough to direct traffic!  :P

I think that Your face got a tiny bit narrower (it is probably because Your cheeks turned a little less plump). Also, I am getting impression that Your eyes seem to be a little bit deeper set - but only a little. Courage and patience - Your journey just begins ;)

Looking good my man! I agree I think your face is more narrow and your facial hair is quite pronounced! You passed in the "before" shots just more so in the "after". That's great-especially after only 2 months.

@Emily: Thanks for your encouraging words :) My girlfriend also noticed less of a "chipmonkey" look lol

@Shania : Also thanks! It's always nice to hear. And the facial hair I did notice was darker and more thick now that you mention it!. I have always had facial hair to some degree but now it's actually definable.

A few pages back someone said older guys wouldn't show off patchy facial hair growth if that's all they could muster. I don't know how old he was talking about, but I work with a bunch of 22-26 year old guys and crappy facial hair abounds. I can now grow a crappy goatee, crappy stache, and crappy burns, so I finally fit in. :p

These were taken just the other day. Been 13 months w/o a haircut, and it's only gonna get longer... don't care what anyone says, and most people have a lot to say about it ;)

You remind me of Leo Dicaprio!

Honey, amazing! Everyone in the past told me I looked so masculine and I wouldn't ever fit in as a woman when I came out to them, but honey, you really look more masculine than me and blow me away even on my manliest day in the past.

As for the changes, I see 4 major things from those 4 pics, hairline is a little different it seems, and the hair on your face seems darker, fuller, and filling in more. The next one is your eyes, seems like now you look at things differently. Maybe it was just the way you focused on the camera this time but it is a different look. Also, your head seems to be not as soft, it has squared out a little and not as smooth and round like before.

That is what I see. :)

@thatboyfresh your face definitely slimmed out and I'm not sure if it's because of your shape up or not but your hairline also looks different. Very handsome, bro!

Thanks man!. I think the hair cut does a lot for me in the way of giving my hair line and face a more masculine look. I always get mis-gendered more when I let it grow out which is a shame. Maybe when I am more into my T I will let it grow out lol

Hi everyone! I'm new around here. I want to post a pic (which was the original purpose of this post) but can't see the attachments  option, maybe because I haven't posted enough yet?

15 posts are required for a number of things including avatars. If you read the TOS, you will find life here is good and it explains much of this.

Welcome to Susan's. Perhaps a intro in the introduction area would be fun. Meanwhile, Look around and read as you will.

Thanks a lot for answering so fast LordKAT. I agree that life here is good and have been reading the forums for a while now ^_^ When I said I wanted to post a pic I didn't mean an avatar but a pic for this thread ("do I pass?"), do I need 15 posts for this too? I'd be ok with that, just making sure I'm not missing a feature  or something (I haven't used forums that much in my life so sometimes I have trouble doing certain things). Also, I only see one reply button, does that mean I can't reply to specific answers? Either way, thanks a lot for everything, I'm loving the forums so far.

You need to use a photo hosting site like Photobucket etc. to post a pic. in a topic

You need to load your pic to a hosting site like deviant art or something and then post that link. Sorry that I misunderstood.

Edit: What Virginia said.

If you want to post a picture in a thread (like this one) you need to first upload the photograph to an image sharing site, such as imgur, tinypic, photobucket, or any of the other millions of sites like them out there.  From there there you should be able to get a link to that photograph, it'll say "html link" or something similar, copy that into your post on here and type "" "" either side of it so that you get something which looks like this:

yourphotourl

(remove all the spaces between the square brackets)

By replying to specific posts do you mean like this, with theirs quoted inside yours?  To do that just click on where it says "quote" at the top right hand corner of their post instead of reply.  If you want to reply to more than one user do that and then below the text box there are recent posts, which you can also add quotes on with the "insert quote" button.

Remember you can always use the preview button to check that things have worked the way you wanted them too, and things will get easier the more you get used to it.

EDIT: Others beat me to it, but this is a little more in-depth.  Hoped it helped.

I want to use this as a profile pic, but want to make sure I pass first. Do I?

Alright-here goes nothing: While I identify as genderqueer, I still have that strong need to pass for female, so here is a picture of me (also go by my profile pic?).  It's from my best side in perfect lighting, but let me know what it is that tips everyone off-I don't have an exceptionally male face really, but it's not female either.  I'm thinking of FFS so input is appreciated.   And don't tell me to change the hair.  I will go to the ends of the earth to change anything else, but the hair stays (albiet slightly trimmed from time to time).

And Ryan B: The lighting in that photo isn't the best, but you certainly look more male than female; you look like a very young male, but that issue tends to resolve itself after a little bit of time on T.  I can sort of tell, but that might be because we're all hyper-aware of these things.
My gender problem isn't half as bad as society's.  Although mine is still pretty bad.

hi painter,
I would actually disagree with you about your face. You have a really strong jawline and chin. I think your hair is awesome.
