So I've somehow managed an existence in school of being closeted to almost all my teachers, out to the long-time friends, and stealth to newer ones, which means that socially I've been thrown into the deep end of the life of your everyday teenage guy. I'm the stereotypical nerd with the awkward best friend, we're both in those stereotypical lame punk/rock/whatever bands teenagers make, being bored with school, etc.
But...now I've got a problem. Two, actually, and they're both in my gym class. I mean, I'm flattered that girls are suddenly chasing me now, but it's really awkward. I mean, I almost ended up being pantsed in front of my whole gym class because my sweatpants won't stay up very well and one of the girls was clinging to my leg and stuff. Nobody needs to see my skinny pale legs, they would have blinded everyone with their pasty whiteness. But I digress.
They both told my other friend in that class they like me, I'm not out to any of them and plan to remain stealth in this situation. By some miracle I now pass even with a ridiculous amount of physical contact as in awkward play fights, so I'm not very worried about something outing me anymore. But I don't like them back that way, it's just complicated because I like them as friends and care about their feelings.
So what do both my wingman and boyfriend/other wingman tell me to do?
Turn the lights out.
Thanks, guys >_>
On top of that I had to come home and listen to my mother go on another rant about me not being a boy. Tell that to everyone in school, Mom, see what they think. She told me I'm conspiring against her with my therapist. Doh.
Anyway, I've got girls chasing me, stalking me, and playing with my hair (they said it's very "molestable") which is cool and also creepy, awkward situations resulting from that, and all sorts of loveliness. Just felt like sharing, because I'm starting to feel more like a normal teenage boy these days and it's great. Though many of my teachers can't understand why the supposedly female child with the female name is referred to by classmates as a boy named Max. Maybe someday I'll let them in on things.
I also got some very confused and offended looks from a group of people in the hallway because I used the "girl's" bathroom (they converted it so there's urinals but it's technically a female restroom, some boys use it anyway but not too many). It may very well be time to use the lad's in school too, now to go get a packer somehow!
