I'm completely overwhelmed by trying to choose a new binder from lesloveboat.  I've had two underworks binders, but I'm really interested in trying something different, I just don't know what, there's so many to choose from on there.  I'm an XS in underworks terms if that helps, with probably a A/B chest.

My only preferences are:
- short binder
- no zipper (velcro is fine)
- something that's less likely to boil me alive in the summer
- comfort > flatness

I have the high performance Velcro short binder and the 2nd gen jersey mesh. As far as comfort goes, if you don't do the Velcro super tight, the high performance is quite nice. It's made of this silky smooth material, almost like swimsuit or under armour. It's very good at wicking sweat. The jersey mesh, I found to get sweaty and gross easily because its made of a cotton material. I also felt like my chest was going to fall out the bottom of the jersey mesh. I'm a B cup though, so you might be okay. The biggest problem I have with the high performance is that the binding material doesn't come up high enough on the chest, like the shoulder straps are too long. This might be an easy fix if you can sew. I've also seen very good reviews of the sports pullover binder by smaller chested guys. My best advice is to check out the comparison chart on their site and read the reviews on there for each binder. Good luck!!

Do you or anyone else know if the sizes for the high performance velcro short binder run correctly?  It's a lot of money to spend on something if it doesn't fit right, although I suppose the velcro might make it a bit more flexible.  I think I can handle shortening the shoulder straps, but not taking in the whole thing if it's too big overall.

Yes, I believe they are sized correctly. I am at the upper limit for a L, which I purchased, and it's not too small at all. If you're unsure, email them. I asked them for size advice before and they were very helpful.

I think some people find the sizing weird, but it may differ for styles. I believe they use 3-4 different manufacturers all Asian. I believe they are sized a bit more for Asians than Westerners. OTOH, I think that my feelings on this may be more because I have Aspergers with some sensory issues. I think they bind nicely for smaller chests (A-C).

I use a high performance short binder and I love it. I bought the M originally thinking that the sizes would be small but it was too big. So yeah, I'd say they're sized correctly. But I have heard that the white binders at LLB run smaller than the black. I have no proof of this theory though all of mine are black.

Funny you should say this. I had a gray Air Max pullover binder. Later I bought a white. It was too small which ticked me off no end. This is from the Double T corp (one of a few that sells to Loveboat). Not sure that this is across all their products. Very very odd.
