Awesome!!! My waist will never reach leg length, but I did order those Levi's 510 you told me about! Sure hope they fit (they are my current pant size...). I'm a 38" waist... so just a bit big for a standard (standard... as if) women's size 16.

If they don't work for you send them back, but they should be fine. I don't carry a purse, just need pockets that will accommodate a thin wallet, money clip and car keys and I'm good. Don't need to pack all that extra unnecessary crap like some women lug around.  ;D

My love handles will be gone effective the 14th which will make my waist size and leg length about the same or within one number of each other, hasn't been like that since high school. I will be healed and styling for the holidays, yippee!   :eusa_dance:

That's great news, hon. *hugs*

Just remember though, when you're svelte to the point where have to substitute the handles for Velcro... it can chafe. ;)

I just recently slimmed my wallet down to nearly nothing. Now I'm thinking I want a nice bag that will keep some of the things I need constantly (hairbrush, kindle, wallet, keys, etc)... bonus points if it's cute, girly, purple, etc. ;)

Girly-girl type huh?  :)
I'm still ingrained with that Ranger saying, "Travel light, freeze at night!" Kinda goofy now, but oh well!

I honestly don't know. I think somewhere in the middle of the female spectrum, possibly biased toward male... but enough to want something cheap(-ish) and cute :D Too early for me to really know. My current bag cost about $80... and it's unisex / male (maxpedition jumbo). I'd love a smaller, feminine version of it. I'm not a huge fan of hot pink (the only really girly color they've got). I'm looking at the Kavu items for something like that. They probably won't last a lifetime... but who wants them to if there are new and different patterns?? (Plus that maxpedition bag is more than fine for a girl, too... for bigger trips).

Mail brought me the appointment for the doctor who diagnosed me. If I've understood correctly I'll get a letter for the second opinion appointment to another unit treating trans* people which will mean I'm one step closer to get my social security number changed! :)

I went to Gurdwara tonight since I know I can't go this Sunday and I couldn't make it the past two Sundays. So, after kirtan and eating langar this man named Sat Nam, who's super nice, came up to me and said "you haven't been here in two or three Sundays". I was surprised anyone noticed. Apparently, he remembered from one of our previous discussions that I was trying to learn the Gurmukhti and he's been bringing a book on it with him on Sundays to give to me.I thought that was really nice. :)

This actually happened a couple of days ago:

A girl I work with was looking for a band-aid.  I remembered that I keep a first aid kit in my backpack, so I offered one up.  She was surprised and commented "Not to sound sexist or anything, but I never figured the person with a band aid would be male".  If only she knew ... :)
I have moments like that a lot. I'm so much more polite and less competitive than most guys that it gets noticed, and then idk how I feel. I mean, I shouldn't try to have my cake and eat it too, and I love showing that it IS possible for men to behave this way, but I got a pretty huge shortcut to awareness/gentleness by being raised in the opposite gender.

What made me happy today was that I purchased a bicycle. I've used them for fun and transport most of my life but for various reasons spent the last sixish years without.

I got this

with black and white accents instead of silver.

I would've given my nonexistent left nut for really any non-kmart bike, but because I haven't maintained or repaired one in so long I decided it was best to get it from a bike shop rather than craigslist or a pawn shop. The guy sold it to me for 100 dollars less than MSRP and promised free maintenance for a year, and he gave me a discount on the kryptonite lock.

I don't have any bungee at the moment, and I don't want to shell out for panniers, so for groceries I attached a plastic kitty litter bucket to the rack on the left side, and I fastened the elastic from some dead pajamas to the back on each side so I can tie off a canvas grocery bag and stick it under that (looped twice and balanced) if I run out of room in my backpack and bucket.

I'm still waiting for my ebay frog lights or I'd go ride around a bit right now that Leah's asleep. It handles well and I've got smooth roads and good bike lanes nearby. My bike snob roommate is off bottling wine in the sticks, and I'm so glad he's not here with his judgement and cynicism. I like my bike. :)

Finally, all my chest measurements are down by an inch this morning (@3 months on HRT).  I think my shoulders look smaller too and I have had moments of feeling less strength.  The weight is dropping but not fast enough.

You're making progress! It took time to put on and it takes time to take it off, stick with it Joules!

Hubby is gone for the day so I opened all the curtains so there is actually light in the house and I am currently cleaning while playing music and dancing like an idiot in my kitchen while I make food.

Nice. Does he like to keep the curtains closed all the time? I know a few people that do that too. I can't sit in a room like that. I absolutely need to have the curtains open. It drives me bonkers sitting in a room with everything closed up.

Yea, we live in the kinda bad part of town and he is the kind of person that trusts no one, so we always have to keep the curtains closed.  I have a serotonin imbalance so if I am in the dark all the time...

I went grocery shopping today and had to use the restroom. When I was washing my hands I noticed someone taped a brochure on the mirror. It said "smile, someone out there cares about you". Made me feel good.

So after half a week on E, I think I can feel the effects, hard to describe as it feels sort of funny.
This is making me feel so happy with life after all the years of waiting and being miserable.
They are definitely magic pills. :D

Went for a ride this morning, a beautiful day in Sydney, felt good with everything as well.

For the first time I can remember I have a smile on my face.  :)

Now if only I could snicker like Cindy when she's happy.
Hee, Haw, drats! I will need more practice. :D

I had memorized Green Eggs and Ham from when my kids were young. Devlyn helped me figure out that you can't forget it.  Still call my daughter Samiami.

I finished with my community responsabilities for the month (Cleaning the corridor and stairs), so I don't have to worry about that for the next four weeks. And now I'm Listening to Highest Hopes, Nightwish last compilation disc before things started to change before  while I clean my place.

After that it's back to eyebrows tweezing, hair ironing, underwear washing, and as soon as I am ready, back to female living again starting tomorrow.
