Kabit, you might want to try a Macadamia oil mask conditioner (it's in a brown tub at cvs, riteaid. . .)

I am happy today because I went to supercuts to get my hair trimmed and the lady charged me the price for guys cuts instead of the higher priced girls cuts.

Thanks! I'll look into it. I currently use organic lavender (w/ lavender oil) conditioner. I loooove lavender!!

They finally sent someone from the main office to help get some stuff done for our followup  health inspection tomorrow. Now I feel like we are ready for it for the most part. I was worried this morning since they hadn't even called us to tell us when they were coming to do the few things that had to be done.

And my manager finally outright told me today that I was the assistant manager.

I came out to my therapist today. It was a huge relief to finally tell a it to someone in person. I am so happy that I finally made that first step.

My wife came in this afternoon while I was attempting to type an e-mail to a friend. She looked at it then commented that my long jean skirt with buttons was on crooked.I started laughing and she gave me a puzzled look like why are you laughing? I said at least you didn't tell me my fly was open. Then she busted and started laughing to. Acceptance is wonderful! She just came in to see what I am doing and show me the big red lipstick kiss mark on her cheek where I had kissed her earlier.  Love is great!

@Megan, isn't it wonderful having you journey to now revealed to a medical professional! You should be more relaxed talking in the future appointments. So liberating.

@Buddy, besides having an accepting wife, it really helps that you can find the lighter side of transition & have a good laugh amongst yourselves. As our friend Aunty Shan says, your wife is a keeper. She sounds like an Angel, that is what I say about my wife. You are right, Love is Great!

Finally found Dead Silence and Sweeney Todd after months of searching, got them both on Blu-Ray and they were marked as 12.98 each but scanned through at 9.98 each.

I've been gendered as female while in the worst possible presentation: After the gym mode. guy's pirate pants, dude's old hoodie, back hair in a ponytail while front and side bangs falling everywhere, compression sports bra, and dude's running shoes. The only "cheat" was that I had shaved that morning and I always wear at least mascara and a bit of bear cover when I go to the gym. It happened in a stationery shop while buying a white board, but I was close to "Sorry, could you repeat it again?" I couldn't believe it.

All the way home with a stupid smile.

That's awesome! I love that us girls can still wear guys clothes... it expands my very limited female wardrobe considerably :D I can also wear those men's skinny Levi's as either gender.

Mine: Yesterday my therapist thought my new shirt went very well with my complexion (guess I'll be looking for more peachy pink and beige). He also was very surprised at the changes in my face and hair - he thought I'd gotten a haircut. I think I'll be sticking with co-only washing and my current hair style (which isn't much... but it has gotten longer in the last 2 months). My only makeup yesterday was mascara - which is a royal pain to figure out... one touch on the lid and it's almost impossible to fix. (Note to self... need carbon black mascara and eyeliner - also, try note cards to protect the lid and brow).

And today... just after I posted the last one.

I am now 198.6 (dropped 2 lbs since yesterday). I knew it was going to be a good one when I weight myself in the evening and was lighter than that morning (never, ever happens).

I'll probably be up a little tomorrow, but that's just how this works. The best part is that I'll almost definitely still be under 200 lbs regardless of what happens today! (My goal: 170-190... 180 or less is probably perfect for me).

I beat the worst of the high tide home. Tomorrow should be better, should be no water at all to drive through and hopefully no detour around croaker to miss the worst of it.

I know I say this a lot, but it is the source of most of my happiness and it affects me almost every day. I know who I am and I think who I am is awesome.
Also, (spoilers) I saw a thing for Thor 2 during which Loki kicked Thor in the face. I am very much looking forward to this movie. The Hobbit is coming out soon too.
I've been listening to some new (to me) songs that I really like.

Do you need to have your house raised a bit?

No, my house is dandy and was actually elevated(around 4 more feet) and rebuilt/remodeled after Isabel in '03 due to being heavily damaged by flooding. But the roads between me and anywhere other than my immediate neighborhood can flood at times due to tide, rain and wind. I live in an area that is right between a sound and a bay, so there is only one way out. The issue should be over in another day or two or three maybe. I just don't like having to drive through that much salt water with my car. Its a pain to have to rinse the wheels and brakes to keep things from rusting too bad.

Oh, gotcha! Sounds like a case for a good steam cleaning and undercoat job! I'd never buy a car that was driven in the mid-west, they always load the roads with rocksalt that causes autobody cancer in just a few years.

Actually, messing with vehicles and RVs that drive the beach, undercoating is about the worst thing you can do to try and prevent salt damage. Invariably cracks appear in it and salt will find its way under it and rust out before you know it. Better to have bare or just lightly painted metal and if it starts rusting, spray fluid film(a lanolin based protectant) all under it. The RV we've used on the banks has been over there in the sand and salt every year since 1993 and still has a strong frame under it and its been sprayed once or twice a year depending on how much it was used. And lanolin isn't going to hurt the environment, you even thin it with regular vegetable oil to spray it.
