So today I got regendered...maybe. My LGBT+ support status or feminist status or transgenderness or just my general question mark at work was also deferred to
(else I'm paranoid, but nobody has replied to my thread, linked above, to say I'm nutzo -- not that I need confirmation of that ).

But the fun story...
I was in Shaw's getting some things today... and in the check out I had to apologize to the person in front of me (for accidentally whacking her chips with the lane separator). When it was my turn, the checkout woman did a pretty obvious double-take. I was clearly regendered (else the check-out girl is also trans*, but I doubt it - she had a pretty deep voice, but nothing else obvious).

Secondly, I'm able to talk to my wife online about transgender stuff without her freaking out (I told her the OTHER story - and she confirmed that I'm paranoid).

My hair was pretty today. I blame everything that happened on that... and my soft voice (which is starting to crack from a cold ).

The lady that will doing my facial hair electroysis removal is so funny & loves to talk. I can tell we will get along just fine. First appointment next Tuesday & we plan a weekly visit all fall & winter to finally remove all the little hairs I hope.

My ex started talking to me a bit more than passing greeting while I was in the hospital. He told me today that at first he was not happy at all about me but now says he would like to be friends and has shown he wants to by helping me out with moving things that I can't and getting my air conditioner put away which I couldn't due to restrictions from my surgery. I don't ever want to get back together with him, but I had him as a friend long before we got together and it would be nice to have that back.

Since passing as male, my confidence with girls has actually gone down, because when they saw me as female I felt they trusted me more and I had a little less creep factor. *sigh* I'm not really looking for a relationship, cause I have a girl I love, but it would be nice to be able to interact with girls without being unable to look at them.
