Good for you! Like Devlyn said, I don't know if I could wear them (I'm such a klutz I'd poke my eye out!) bur I can see how they're more convenient.

Same here. I have a thing with eyeballs too so I just could never wear them. My glasses have become a part of me too, if I didn't have them to adjust in awkward moments, I'd feel empty inside somehow.

Omygosh I never thought about that benefit to wearing glasses. I've been awkward all this time with no coping mechanism in sight (tehe I love puns)! I'm getting a pair!

I've had glasses so long that I don't know what I would do without them, (other than fly blind).

Besides, IMHO, women who wear glasses are much sexier. Some guys are too but not as often. ;)

I do find that glasses really tend to frame a woman's face nicely. Keaira looks really nice in her glasses. I think I prefer her without, just because it's hard to see her eyes as well with glasses on, but I find in her case they just add that little extra something to her style.

Wait until you get older than dirt like yours truly and are so used to them you forget where they are. "Where's my glasses honey?" "You're wearing them goofy!"  :D "Doh!"

You're not older than dirt! More like... around the same age. :P

I tried contact lenses once. One day my eyelids like a vice clicked in on the edges & batted it into the outer corner of my eye, it was folded over in a triangular shape. I had to squeeze the lens out from the outer corner of my eye, I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital t get it removed, but after quite a while it finally came out. No more contacts for me after that. I have worn glasses for long distance about 45 years now. Like Shan has said when you get to my age of 72 you forget where you left your glasses & the hunt begins. The wife says, "where did you leave them last?" I say, "hun, if I remembered or knew I would have gone & found them right away." In femme mode I don't look as good with the glasses on, so don't wear them in a social setting or places I know my way around. Yes, sometimes I start to search for my glasses & put my fingers to my eyes, oops touch frame, damn I have them on! Oh, the joys of aging. lol Look what you have forward to when you get old you young ones.

Now where are my glasses?

Three good things that rather eclipsed the bad day I had.
1. I cried my eyes out at the LGBT resource centre, received lots of hugs, and got email addresses for the two doctors on campus who deal with transgender health.
2. Had a nice dinner and conversation with Shaina, and found out she lives in the same building as me, what are the odds!
3. While at the LGBTRC, I found out about the events for Transgender week of remembrance, one of which is a drag masquerade on next Tuesday. Shaina and I are going to go as a "date" for fun; she's going to borrow some of my clothes, and I of hers. I'm also going to have to ask Carter for some as well, or go thrifting, if my budget allows. I so want to go in a red dress with red heels :)
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.

So cool Willow, Shaina is a total keeper as friends go. I wonder if she was a cheerleader in high school?  :D

Zoe, a transwoman who works at the LGBTRC, helped me out. She's awesome. I just need to get things rolling and hope my grades improve at the same time.

I'll ask her next time!
She's so inderstanding and open minded. She may not like something, but she's willing to hear you out and maybe even change her mind on it, unlike many. I totally love her!
Not in the same way that her and Malachite are though ;)

Aww thanks Auntie Shan I feel the same way about you! Thanks for adopting me-I feel privileged! Though I'm sorry to disappoint I wasn't a cheerleader--all girls Catholic school, they thought it was inappropriate haha!

A lovely day in Sydney after a few days of good heavy rain which we needed.
Had a great ride up north and the roads were very quiet and had been repaved to smooth hotmix. Took ferry across the harbour which is always a pleasant trip. We ended up doing 100k and getting fitter by the day :)
Have some beautiful rides planed for the rest of this week.
Some riders complimented my new bike as it is very sexy. :D

Had two good friends help me with a WTF moment I had recently. It's nice to know that people care about each other here and understand.
Now have noticeable breast growth, to me, and feel great on an increased E dose.
I need more courage but I am getting there steadily.

Discord, I'm howlin' at the moon
And sleepin' in the middle of a summer afternoon
Discord, whatever did we do
To make you take our world away?

Discord, are we your prey alone,
Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?
Discord, we won't take it anymore
So take your tyranny away!
