So...
I'm to go for a meeting here about the transgender rules in my country in some weeks.
and I expect it to be pretty big and serious.(hopefully)

so far theres been some questions out that if we want changings to happent to make things better what should we do and expect, a couple of people want to have a system like in the US with gender therapist which we dont really have in our country (at least not anyone who got approved by the standard of care.

first of all, I always wanted to try it out, because I somethimes feel it could be nice to talk to someone about trans-issues who should know what his talking about, but now I feel an extra need because I feel it would be stupid showing up and saying "yeah lets have gender therapist like in US and when they ask if I ever tried it I would say no.

long story short, I dont have money or time to travel to US or other country's just for a a apointment to check out how the system works, BUT I had complitely forgot the magic of the internet.

So if anyone knows some gender therapist they could recomend (dosen't matter which country or state actually, as long its able to talk to them by skype/phone/(email.) then it would be great.
if there not too expensive it would also be nice as its not that cheap to call outside the country.
-
also, for everyone who read this, I would like you to sum up in which country/state you in, what is expect for you in this area, your experience with gender theapist, and whatever or not your satified with how it is or not.

Dr. Graham Peveller.
Now, he's a little older so he's kind of old school. He does ask questions about sex and your sex life and stuff. As long as you don't mind that, you should be fine.
I've heard complaints about him, but he was great with me. He even went out of his way to convince my chosen surgeon after he (the surgeon) was initially reticent about a letter from an online therapist.
He's qualified and used to practice in Britain in the traditional office setting. He's a great guy, but he's a little older, so just be patient with him (I've heard he was late a time or two to a session, but never got this myself).
Last I checked, he was good for letters in Britain, US, Canada, Phillipines (where he's at) among other places. You should check up front with him and make sure he can do it in your country.

Not sure what's expected in my area. We don't have informed consent clinics around here, so I had to see a therapist. I tried the traditional route, but the (very recommended and much celebrated) main gender therapist in my area didn't have the best 'couch-side' manner. And required additional group sessions which were mandatory and I had to pay extra for. I have a really hard time talking about trans issues in person with anyone. So, online was best for me and Dr. Peveller made me feel comfortable.
Good luck with whatever you choose.

My online therapist was Dr. Carol Clark (not sure if she's license to practice outside of the U.S. though).  She's available through either Skype or Telephone and is located in Miami, Florida.  Dr. Peveller was actually my first choice because of his low costs so I emailed him and never got a response.  I also emailed another online therapist before Dr. Clark and got no response.  However, I have no complaints about her.  She's funny and blunt.  The sessions can be quite expensive.  I paid $160 for a session every 3 months but the price is lower if you visit her more often.

Transition-wise, I don't know what's expected in my area since I will be living as a female probably for another 10 years or so but I was very satisfied with her overall.

No. We talked at length about my history with men. He never made any comments on orientation.
