UPDATE

They will be bringing her back to our hotel room soon this morning, Dr Reed is going to teach tons of after care and wound cleaning that I will be doing for her when he isnt here in the mornings. *sniffle* I cant wait to see her again.

It sucks to hear that she is hurting, but she will heal with time.  The pain is a temporary phase.
