Seems that the CEO of Abercrombie and Fitch has issues with big girls. Wow. I shop there quite often (not a big girl)... But I wonder what his view is on trans customers... Hmmm...

Does A&F choose to retail to a niche market?  Yes
Is this illegal? No.

It is their business model, and compared to the bankrupt A&F operations of the past, they are successful.

If you don't like that, shop elsewhere.

Regardless of legality, it's definitely unethical, and also laughable given the way he looks...

If you're a business owner who relies on a brand to sell your products or services then you're also making a contribution to culture and it's only ethical to ensure that the contribution you're making is positive.

If your ethics or morality allows for something detrimental to positive cultural development then protests or boycotts from people is fair game.

The guiding principle of course is not to put yourself up as a public person unless you can hold yourself to a higher moral standard than Joe Public.

This. The irony. You were the first person to see this fact. This was the main reason I posted this story. Irony. The man is a goblin... yet he has the balls to determine what/who is cool and what/who is not. Really? Ever look in a mirror buddy? Really?

Whoever did his facial surgery needs to be retrained and take their board exams again. Yeesh.

I'd say forget his looks.  He came out with a marketing ploy.  Its working, it got people talking.

My son-in-law was looking for a new suit the other day (to wear to my other daughters wedding).  Every store he went in only had "Trim cut" suits he isn't "trim" he is husky. 

So other stores are catering to the "Fit" client, they just aren't saying it on television.

A+F caters to particular clientele. It's nothing new really. I question his logic on what's hip. What's hip to one group may not be to another. Jeffries logic is elitist but he's entitled to his belief. I never was one of the hip or popular people in school but I was happy nevertheless.
