1946 Fulton "Airphibian"



1947 Dreyfuss "ConvAirCar" - It crashed.




1956 Molt Taylor "Aerocar"

Five of these were built; one of them was owned and flown by actor Robert Cummings on his television show in the 1950s and 1960s.  However, the project died under the weight of government regulation.

Though not strictly a flying car, the 1958 Piasecki "Airgeep" was an innovation

They like to call them flying cars, but they're all closer to drivable airplanes.
