Earlier today I split a tangent out of the "You look fabulous, darling" topic, into a new topic. It had to do with a cartoon character.
I completely misread the situation, thinking that the member who was the object of the comments was having fun with it. She wasn't. It was hurtful.
And I exacerbated the problem. The split topic is now deleted and I have offered my apologies directly to the member. And this is to offer my apologies to the membership.
