Went to my endo yesterday, all happy and bouncy...talked about my blood work last time, she seems concerned about elevated white blood cell count. Told me that we'd take them again, but if they're high again (they normally run high, but she's not used to that) she may refer me to a cancer center to rule that out.

One word...the "C" word...and I went into a tailspin. It didn't help that my appt was at 4pm in downtown Seattle (OMG! What was I thinking? RUSH HOUR GOING HOME!) I really don't know what is worse--worrying about the C word, or watching a semi truck barreling down on your back bumper and trying to get out of the way so you don't wreck into 3 other cars in the process...

Last night was rough for me. (You may have seen my short-lived post, I asked for the thread to be deleted. Thanks for the kind support and PM's, they helped me sleep) Woke up this morning, and I feel a LOT better. I know this is just a fluke--normal for me, in other words LOL--and we'll stay on track with my transition. Life is still good.

Anyway...just wanted to say "Thank you!" to Susan's and the denizens of this 'Net-world, everyone of you! It's like having 10,000 friends, all giving me a gentle squeezee hug.

***HUGS***

Beth I didn't see your post last night. But I'm sure hearing the possibility of having c would send anybody into a bad state emotionally. I am glad your in a better state of mind today. Beth I'll keep you in my prayers take care and don't let this get you down.  :)

Actually today I feel wonderful...maybe I drained out all the "bad" neurons from my brain, and now there's just happy neurons...LOL :)

You'll note the new Tink image, once I get another good pic of me I'll switch it out...for now, that's about how I feel!

Heather, you're such a sweetie! ;) But you know how it is...you take a pic that looks great on Monday, and by Thursday it's just awful!

It's getting more sunshiny here, so soon I'll have a good one again...in the meantime Tink is really a good representation of my playful/flirty nature...:D

Hug and cuddle.  And give a teddy bear to protect you at night from the monsters.

Hugs over the news and the tailspin..

I thought your photo was fine.. Your eyes reveal your great character and that smile.. I wish I could smile like you do on a photo (I emulate one of the Mael brothers in that LA 1970's pop group Sparks).

But I'm not you, and feel the same sometimes about my photos.

Ahhh...thank you! (I haven't been diagnosed with anything, she was just giving me a "heads up" for later)
