Shawna, where are you?

hi everyone,

This may be a little far out but if you have a cat named  Shawna or Shauna then read on.

I had a dream not long ago and it was one of those that are sometimes hard to forget.   I had been on line here for about an hour.  I read a number of  posts, but did not make any replies.  I went to bed about a half an hour later around 11:30 pm.   And then I had this dream:

There was a girl seated at a keyboard and I am assuming she was on the internet.  She was ignoring me but I really wanted to talk to her.  Then I noticed there was a cat lying on the floor behind her chair.   I remarked that we had once had a cat just like this one.   I knelt down and petted it and I wanted to know its name.  But the girl still kept busy on the keyboard and did not speak.  Then a fish appeared and in a raspy and breathy voice told me the cats name.   It said 'Shawna' and repeated it twice.  There is more to this dream and if anyone has a cat named 'Shawna' I'll gladly share it.  Is it possible the girl on the keyboard is possibly someone who might be a member of this site? 

No, I haven't fallen off the deep end.

Hi Joanna,

              I would think a girl seated at the keyboard who would ignore you represents the girl you are but cannot fully be. She is in the position you were in just before falling asleep. I'm not sure about the cat or the fish. Shauna is somewhat like Joanna. Are you laying quietly near the girl inside and is someone trying to wake you?

Your analysis sounds very plausible, but I'm pretty sure I know who the girl was in my dream.  I was hoping the info about it would elicit a response from her.  But I was not exactly sure of the cats name.  Fish are hard to understand sometimes.  And I'm not really sure if she even has a cat, but chances are she does.

This dream happened the very same day that I received an email from her.  After I had the dream I was so very curious to know if some of it was at least true.  I kept thinking about it so much, I finally made the post.  But dreams can fool us sometimes and maybe it was just my vivid imagination at work.  If nothing happens in the next week or so, I'll tell you the girls name.

12:53 am??   You should be dreaming!  I love to dream, I even do it in the daytime.
