For pre-op and non-op girls, do you ever pee standing up?

Eww! No! I'm a girl. Girls sit down.
Only when I really need to.
Sure, all the time. As long as I'm stuck with this thing, I might as well use it.
I'm not pre-op/non-op but I want to see the results

Either way is fine for me. Consider this as just not so important details

Since I've gone full time and started using public women's restrooms, I've gotten used to sitting down all the time.

I'm a woman. I haven't peed standing up for at least two and a half years. Saturday will be two years exactly since I've taken every breath as a female, but I didn't stand up for quite a while before that, saying to myself at the time my back hurt too bad to stand. The truth is that I was easing my way into womanhood, lol! It's weird how as much as I love to see a man's circumsized penis, I've hated mine for my entire life, and now I rarely look at it unless I absolutely have to. Going potty sitting down not only makes it easier not to have to look at it, I can ignore this 'thing' between my legs almost entirely. Hugs, Mira
These three years have been the best of my entire life
ones I've been able to live without lying
and the only time I've had since the age of twelve
I haven't constantly thought about dying

I actually have a very hard time peeing standing up. I can only do it if I have to pee really bad. I don't know why, it's just easier to relax those muscles when I'm sitting down. Been this way all my life.

I much prefer to sit - it "feels right" on the same level that so many other female-centric things do...BUT...

Medically speaking, when you have a penis you void your bladder better by standing up.  The long urethra that goes with a penis ,versus the rather short straight urethra a vagina has, just voids more effectively standing up.  Try peeing sitting down and then stand up and see if you can get a little more out, usually I can.

^this^ is a relevant thing to me.

so ...

1. whenever I'm in a multi-stall location, it's sitting without considering any other option
2. whenever i'm at liberty to go again as often as necessary, I sit without considering any other option
3. while on the clock at work, and in the middle of the night, i compel myself to stand so that I void completely, in order to avoid (a) getting in trouble for going too often (b) having to return to the restroom 6 times a night (which i HAVE done before!)

I don't LIKE it, but it is maddening to walk away from the bathroom and feel like you need to try again within just a few minutes.

Oh, and I never even attempt to pee outdoors (not that I'm in that position very often at all)  because i'm too fat to be able to squat with any balance, and I don't consider the circumstance to be worthy of the exception I'd have to make to my preference. if for some reason I was in the woods or something for several hours, I'd HAVE to do it standing because if i squat, i fall over - and that's not very lady-like either.

Sometimes.  I haven't paid attention to how often.  Probably depends on which gender I am at the moment.

Discord, are we your prey alone,
Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?

I've tried sitting down a few times, and it's relaxing and all, but when I stand up, it seems to be much faster. Once I start transitioning though, I probably will start sitting down. I'm also on the I-Hate-Urinals train, it's too uncomfortable for me to pee next to someone lol.

to funny who would of thought that leaving a pee would have developed 6 pages, my prefered method is sitting but in some nasty urinal exposures or when out of doors i just squat
one day, one step, with grace it will be forward today

Due to HRT shrinkage I started having the occasional issue with clearance so I started sitting. I figured I might as well get used to it anyway.

I did like the convenience of standing, but I'm starting to like the idea of taking a moment two out of my day.

I sit almost all the time. I've shrunk to just about an inch when soft (smaller when cold!) and it's much easier than standing.

Always sit when home or anywhere else.  Until my name change I'm always looking for one of these signs.

But has anyone ever seen one of these signs?

I've never seen one of those, it sure would make things easier. I've been having a lot of anxiety lately about using public bathrooms. I had a couple of incidents in the mens room where some jerks didnt take kindly to me being in there, and my confidence is like a roller coaster so using the ladies room is stressing me out.

My school has quite a few "man/woman/handicapped" single bathrooms, which are practical, and in smaller my building, strictly because there's nothing else but still, the only bathroom is unisex.

For real, there is strictly no point in gender-specific bathrooms. >.> The only thing that makes new students uneasy is that they've never seen one and they've been stupidly convinced, like the rest of the population, that there is a good reason why there are seperate bathrooms.

Anyway, uhm, for your question... don't worry about the women's bathroom. When I looked pretty androgynous, I did a few tests and noticed that I got weird looks and even "wrong bathroom, lady" (from old men; old men have a very very narrow idea of what a man can look like) in the men's room, but nothing in the women's bathroom. A little weird look once in a while at most.

Does it not depend on the situation for many of us?  I use public women's restrooms and sit when I do.  I most often sit on the throne at home too.  I am also a rural person and when this girl is doing farm chores or miles down the trail you better believe the practical solution is to water the bushes from a standing posture.  Better than a bug bite on the butt?

I lived in rural Nebraska for a while (yea, I know, What WAS I thinking?).  A cis female stopped by to visit my then-wife.  We were chatting in the driveway when she asked if she could go to the bathroom.  I said sure.  She went 10 feet behind the nearest tree and dropped trou.  I kinda miss those crazy country folk.

Hey Joules, "I resemble that remark."  Ok, it's not my original joke but country crazy does work out here.  As a long time outdoor enthusiasts we have done a lot of camping and there are a number of products developed and sold to women campers that allow them to stand and pee in the bushes without getting soaked.  Posturing for style or convenience it's all water under the bridge;-)

Only when needed. As in when at a nasty public toilet...

This a million times!
You know I'd rather say nothing; and just be proud of myself for tearing down these walls.
