For pre-op and non-op girls, do you ever pee standing up?

Eww! No! I'm a girl. Girls sit down.
Only when I really need to.
Sure, all the time. As long as I'm stuck with this thing, I might as well use it.
I'm not pre-op/non-op but I want to see the results

I am confused as to the premise of the thread.  It is beginning to look as if the thread should have been titled "are you woman enough to sit?". :-\

Well, I didn't mean it that way. I certainly don't think someone who sits is more of a woman (evidenced by the fact that even full-time, I stand whenever I get a chance).
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

I should clarify myself.  What I meant is that with all of the responses, you'd think the thread were titled differently.  It seems something like this should just be a poll, because otherwise it seems to evolve into a "I fit in" type of conversation.  We're always looking for validation.
10-13 tried mother's finger nail polish, dresses and her heels
23 phase of body building and then suddenly cross dressing and wearing makeup
26 started calling myself Kristy in my voicemail recording
36 saw therapist, went on HRT and partially identified as Kristy
37 moved and started HRT again, dressing a little more feminitely
41 started HRT again, and wife made agreement if I would give up Kristy
45 started HRT again, this time for good, because wife didn't hold up her end of the agreement.  New agreement with 11 year old son and wife is that Kristy be present only at certain times and not around strangers or family, unless they are ready to be a part of Kristy.

I don't know why. I'm unsure of my gender identity, but sitting down feels right in some strange way.

I'm still trying to figure out my anatomy to try to stand up to pee. I've tried once but I ended up just squatting over the toilet so it didn't go all over the place.

Would a funnel be helpful in determing your preference?  ^-^

I'm still waiting to get an STP sometime soon. I've seen a lot of FTMs say they aren't too happy with theirs so I kind of don't know if I should spend the money but it'd be nice to try.

Squatting over the toilet is just really dysphoric and besides I don't want to touch myself "down there" to aim.

Never, not even if its an emergency. I'll soon wet myself then stand up.

Sitting down to pee has been a natural thing to me for years. Urinals aren't my thing, but lately I have to admit standing over a toilet because lately it helps me empty the bladder. Plus public toilets don't look very nice to sit on unless I take a lot of soap and water to the seat. The toilet covers don't guarantee that they won't rip and you get it in the.....well, you know!

Poor thing... If you'd rather wet yourself than stand, it must cause you a lot of dysphoria. *huggles*

You look beautiful in your avatar, by the way.

I always sit or squat. Have not stood under any circumstances, except in the shower, for over 15 years and am actually paranoid of standing. I need to get rid of those things and get a proper reroute.  :)   :icon_female:

I do if I'm at home but never in public toilet

It all depends on my mood and if there's some good reading material available.   :)

I don't like sit on public seats unless I put down a barrier.

Public restrooms would be the exception for me sometimes too. If they are all covered in urin or so I will stand. If it's just a little I try to clean it dry before sitting down.

When I was 8, I started wetting the bed because I get kicked out of the girl's room, made into a pervert and generally outcasted and dismissed by teachers for saying that I'm really a girl. This last until somewhere around 12-13 when I finally got medicine to take care of it ( It was some kind of nasal drip and to this day I do not know it if t was a placebo or something real.) I never read about it in depth cuz I dont know the med's name.  But...back here in real time, if I'm in the woods, I'll squat. I don't pee standing up. But I'm going to have surgery so that's a limited time offer for me anyways. But, seriously, it's just too dysphoric to stand, aim, spray. I feel sick/nauseous for about 10 minutes afterwards, though it could ruin my whole day and put me in a mood. That's just me. It sucks being me.

Who wants to create the next poll, "The Other: Sit or Perch"?

Yep, it does. I cant wait to get surgery i'm so desperate I have given up on saving for the complete surgury, im going to just save up the 5-8k and have partial depth look alike done.  I dont want this nasty thing between my legs any longer then I have to.   Trust me I battle every day with the idea  "Drive up to the hospital. Call the ER and tell them im in my car out front bleeding out, then proceed with slicing it all off with my skinning knife.

Also thank you very much for the compliment.

Please, please don't hurt yourself, Teela. *hugs you super tight* You'll have a beautiful vagina someday soon and you'll never have to go through this torment again. But you need what's down there now to make it with. And I'm not sure you'd survive if you cut it off, even if you were right in front of the hospital. :'(
